OK, so what DID you mean? I think it sounded the way Stamos interpreted it.

Essendon* set the tone.
Theyre punching above their weight division by not being meek.

Agree with that. Not just Lonergan, but Ryder too. They're playing with aggression, speed, and flair. Hate to admit it around here, but I loved the way they played last night. And I know I'm a broken record, but it all starts with Jobe - he's in the top 10 players in the AFL atm, and I'd have him and his consistency any day before the erratic Franklin and Rioli.

I agree with both of you.

Hate to say it, but they're playing a style of footy I really enjoy. Tough, relentless and lots of gut running....and hitting the scoreboard. Can't believe how the strong have stood up after their gruelling preseason strengthening campaign. The weaklings seem to have fallen over and made way to 100 minute footballers.

I think we will overtake them as the season unfolds...well I hope so...and I hope we see that sort of toughness in our guys after next season's preseason too...if it works.

Complete and utter bullshit. What did Lonergen have to gain by tackling Carazzo in that situation? SFA.
Any tackle was always going to propel Carazzo forward and earn Carazzo a free. Whilst he didn't intend to break his shoulder, it was a deliberate and intentional act to hurt him early in the game. Yes its a brutal game and we all move on, but "clumsiness" - no flowering way

What a ridiculous post. I'm not even going to bother going into it. Just ridiculous

Wonder how Priddis is feeling about his "just part of the game" tackle?"
That was much more dangerous than Carrots, if the players had "stuck" on the ground, they would have pivoted around Priddis' neck with both his arms pinned behind him....this tackling to the ground strategy is VERY dangerous...whoever is doing it.
I enjoy intensity, but this ain't it!

No doubt it will be looked at, and then within a few days, everyone will be feeling sorry for the executor, and not the executed upon.
So brave.

It won't get looked at.

Odd when you consider last year the AFL were very pedantic about tackling.
