I know this is completely pointless but i enjoy doing it for laughs and get a different result each time i do it.

So after each round i am going to post my Ladder Predictor here, if for nothing else but to compare my stupidly changing opinions of teams week in week out.

Predicted End of Season Ladder after Round 6:

Geelong 19 - 3
Hawks 17 - 5
Adelaide 17 - 5
Carlton 16 - 6
West Coast 15 - 7
Sydney 15 - 7
North 15 - 7
Essendon* 15 - 7
-----------------
Collingwood 14 - 8
Fremantle 14 - 8
Richmond 10 - 12
St Kilda 8 - 14
Lions 8 - 14
Bulldogs 5 - 17
Melbourne 4 - 18
Gold Coast 3 - 19
Port 2 - 20
GWS 1 - 21

Terribly lopsided - will be way off but Richmond would feel harshly done by 10 - 12 is often enough for 9th

Adelaide the team who jumps from bottom 8 to top 4

We get to return the favour to the eagles swapping positions from last year and beating them in the Semi in melbourne this time.

Collingwood miss finals - shame that

We'll lose against Hawthorn, Adelaide and North. Always do when the chips are down, but happy to be proved wrong.

It infuriates me we always seem to struggle against mediocre sides like north and he crows.

FWIW, here's my horribly unrealistic ladder (except for the Collingwood bit, haha)...

Carlton 20-2
Adelaide 17-5
Hawthorn 16-6
Geelong 16-6
Essendon* 15-7
West Coast 15-7
Sydney 15-7
North 14-8
------------------
Fremantle 13-9
Collingwood 12-10
Richmond 10-12
St Kilda 8-14
Brisbane 8-14
Bulldogs 7-15
Port Adelaide 4-18
Melbourne 4-18
Gold Coast 2-20
GWS 2-20

Shows the advantage of the uneven draw if it works in your favour. Crows are top 4 forwardline with a bottom 8 midfield, but a very generous draw and bang! We'll belt 'em.

I think their forward line is reasonable. Shut down Walker and Tippett looks like he want to go surfing already. Their small forwards are OK.

The Crows midfield is coming on. Dangerfield / Sloane / Thompson all rated highly, plus Sauce is the goods. Their defence is a concern IMO.

They'll drop games in the later half of the season as the game plan takes it's toll.

1. Geelong
2. WCE
3. Carlton
4. Hawthorn
5. Adelaide
6. Sydney
7. Fremantle
8. Essendon*
9. Collingwood
10. North Melbourne
11. St Kilda
12. Richmond
13. Bulldogs
14. Lions
15. Melbourne
16. Port
17. Gold Coast
18. GWS

Interesting that no one rates the Swannies

They lost on the weekend which showed other teams how to do it....

And no Goodes for 6 - 8 weeks will see them drop a few.

Yeah, I was surprised how far down the 8 they finished on my list. IIRC they have a decent number of home games left as well, so they may be a bit higher than I have them. Which stands to reason because I doubt very much we'll end up three games clear on top.

Swans are quality. They tore apart the "premiership favourites" in hawthorn.

Okay so I put in a few things and its all so subjective you never know what's going to happen week to week... but for the sake of the argument this is what happened:

1 - Carlton - 19-3 (losing to Geelong and West Coast in consecutive rounds)
2 - Geelong - 19-3
3 - West Coast - 18-4
4 - Adelaide - 16-6 (those 6 games against the bottom teams a gift)
5 - Sydney - 15-7
6 - Essendon* - 15-7
7 - Hawthorn - 15-7
8 - Collingwood - 14-8
---
9 - North
10 - Freo
11 - Rich
12 - Bris
13 - WB
14 - StK
15 - GC (5-17)
16 - Melb
17 - Port
18 - GWS (1-21)

ratings for the Bombers are a little low.

they'll just about win their next 6.

I was going to do the predictor, then realised it was based on me picking 9 every week for the rest of the season.....something I haven't done once this year

Are you inferring we beat Hawthorn?? I heard the weather forecast this morning and she didn't mention anything about hell freezing over.
