Kruezer needs to play and really dominate. he is awesome in the ruck and around stoppages but needs to take more marks and kick a couple goals and when he starts doing this we can really call him elite

must get percentage here , could be very big at the end of the year

You'd hate to miss out on top 4 by a couple of % because we rested a few stars. Hit em hard early, get a big score on the board. Nothing less than 12 goals will suffice.

I do like the idea of giving Kerr a go. The popular opinion seems to be that he would be a guy who'd thrive more with the pace of AFL, so why not this week?

Because it won't be the pace of the AFL :-P

But resting a few might get us an extra 4pts further down the line.

Judd is the only one i think we should rest though. Jamo maybe if he is still a bit sore in the back.

There is a lot to be said for picking fringe players that will have a red hot crack to try and cement a spot, rather than just picking a team that may be complacent.

Its a fine line.

When it comes to the question of "Should we rest players or play a full strength side?" - I can see sense on both sides of the argument.

Happy to trust the inner sanctum of the Blues to make the right call. (NB: Also happy for them to let me be in the inner sanctum! Hell, I wish they would just let me run their admin/HR department; they are pretty piss poor at the moment)

So long as the "spine" of the club is there and the players look to dominate the game before floating a new tactic in the water etc, there should be no drama.

I would give Judd a rest (ellard) and bring Warnock in for a run.

If anyone else needs a rest badly, I guess give them one now. That said I would be very hesitant about any more than a couple of changes. GWS are getting closer, and one of these days they'll catch someone out, get on a roll and it will happen for them.

I'd be wary of resting more than 2-3. Remember a number of our peripheral players were given a chance to put their hands up during pre-season and were disappointing to say the least.

Why do I have visions of Ratts looking all forlorn, and the MC sitting around the big oval table and a 'thought bubble' coming from Ratts filled with....

"Damn we blew it! How can we earn the supporters trust back!!!!".

I'd like to think they consider the supporters when they have a disappointing loss.
I don't think that's really so outrageous.

Good news. Let's hope the next phase of his career is more successful than Cam Cloke's.
Good luck Setants

While McLean added little to the team, he and Bower were not the reasons we lost so badly to Essendon*.

We will clearly rest players and no 1 will be Judd.
Maybe scotland , Kreuzer, .
But we don't know who's carrying little niggles that'll clear with a week's rest
