I'will say that the number of interceptions we had, it did look like sometimes we came out of nowhere.

I know, sounds like tosh, but it is a fact some colour are more easily identifiable than others.

Other than that, I HATE IT!

Would be just as hard for us to pick it up then? So we'd have trouble picking out teammates.

I think the difference is TBB, that you are conciously looking for light blue team mates, and aware of the purple cones because they are more easily seen in peripheral vision. This may not be the case in reverse.

Looks like something that you'd see on an episode of Double Dare.

Not a fan to say the least.

If we have to play West Coast in Perth during the finals do we have to wear the clash strip?

I don't want to sound cynical but given the widespread loathing of this jumper (although there appears that its gaining favour slowly) are the club sticking with it just because they brought it in last year and need to keep it for a certain period of time for marketing purposes?

By that I mean, do people think the club will have a timetable for away strip changing based on projected sales.

I'm getting used to it; and didn't notice it at all last night.

Because their kit was very CFC in colour; the pale blue really stood out for our players.

We'd be negligent not to update it every couple of years I think.

I demand a jumper similiar to Hawthorn's away jumper, with the feral alcoholic cartoon logo of the early 90s instead.

None of the above.

The White is by far the best of the lot, but a Natural or Winter White with Navy logo would be much better.

In the extreme heat of battle during a game; it's critical our players stand out (to each other); and at least the pale blue resembles no other kit; and some opposing guernseys do include a lot of white.

You have raised an issue that really bugs me. Last night Freo virtually had a Carlton jumper on minus the monogram. The only purple i could see was their socks. The AFL shouldnt allow new clubs to change their jumpers to be almost identical to clubs that have worn their's for over 100 years. Freo had the colours green, blue, red, purple and white when they first came into the competition. Even the anchor on the coaches tops looked similar to our cfc monogram.

That's what I noticed too - their socks and jumper are a completely different colour. Their jumper is a very dark purple, basically navy, and the socks are a much lighter purple.

None of that bugs me as much as McGuire saying their ''clash'' jumper is white stripes on a black jumper instead of black stripes on a white jumper.....that the AFL cop that makes me sick.

one jumper is predominantly black and the other is predominantly white - a VERY clear and VERY well done contrast that preserves their traditional colors and design

for us to incorporate a 3rd color is commercialisation of the highest order

Oh Rexy.....it's still an obvious C/wood jumper....it's not clever; it's McGuire refusing to toe the line.

i like our away jumper. it is BY FAR, the best of any in the comp. Tradition is maintained via the CFC logo.
