This happens after every win, calm down. Lets focus on GWS and GWS alone.
Getting ahead of ourselves last week got us where? a belting at the hands of an inferior team

ahhhhhh F#$k it
we should be 21-1 and ready to smash the e-girls in the first final
Play Judd and Murphy alternate games for the rest of season
rotate warnock hammer and K each week

thats the spirit!

we should win 5 from the next 5. anything less than that and i think we'll all be disappointed. i think thats all were saying

Agree! We are premiership favourites again!! We'll equal with Hawthorn

Not sure why we subbed him. I though Anthony was one of our best.

Really missed Carrots and Yaz tonight.
Thankfully we were able to cover Laids, although obviously would prefer him in, and might not have gotten so tight at the end if he was there.

Walks was massive. His fitness and touch was first class. Some of his one handed pickups at full speed were just plain hot. Such clean hands. Reminiscent of his debut game. Don't think he made a mistake tonight when everyone else was making plenty. Having a marking player that is as versatile as he is and can run up and down the ground is just so valuable in the modern game. Can't wait to see him in an open shoot out style game! Poor GWS....

Also how the flower did walks not get paid holding the ball in the pocket. The guy took about 6 steps looking up field, tackled to the ground and dropped it on the way down. Looked like footage I would use as an example to explain the holding the ball rule to someone.

It was very warm at the ground tonight. Its still 27 degrees right now.

Amazing effort from our guys tonight. Big thumbs up to our fitness staff, a team less fit than us would have got rolled in that last quarter (Geelong). We may have faded on the scoreboard but the effort was there. Eddie Betts sprinted 150m to man up a Dockers player who drifted into an open forward line with the Dockers in control on the wing.

We worked hard off the ball tonight, something you have to do to beat a Lyon style of game.

At the game it seemed we had the game under control after that horror opening 15 mins.

I actually thought it was a good game & a great win. We were clearly the better side & controlled it for the most part. We set up the win in the 3rd, maintaining possession superbly to keep them to one late goal.

Thought Henderson & Walker were our two most important players. Hendo's agility & confidence once the ball hits the deck has just gone to another level, & Walker's hands, anticipation, pace & will to take the opposition on were a headache all night for the anchor wankers.

Wasn't confident about this game, thought we were ridiculous at $1.70 with 3 forced changes - but well coached & well executed. Great stuff.

Just finished watching the replay on Fox, don't know why Ryan Crowley bothered shaking Chris Judd's hand at the end of the game because he was holding it all night anyway.

Really great to win this one with a team playing similar tactics to those Essendon* used last week. If we lost would be expecting more of same scragging/flooding for every game this year.

Ross Lyon — dares to lose every game he steps onto the park for. Such ugly football.

Umpiring "consistancy?" as Scotland mentioned to one of them. Thought the coaches made some excellent positional changes for many of those forward players playing in the middle like Betts in the third who was often the difference in a pack of contested possession always managing to get 1 metre of space with a clean line in front to run and carry then kick. Some of our mids hacked kicks forward to our offensive 50m only to be easily marked by Freo who then counter attacked on a break :hitcomputer: .

Totally, he actually took an extra tap to try to keep it *in* play. He would have just let it go over from first knock if he wanted the boundary. Umpiring with intent.

Spot on. Could not agree more.

So proud of the boys tonight. Improve our entries into the f50 and we would of won by 8 goals.

Seems to me we were very well prepared for their game plan. To win the game when it wasn't played on our terms, interstate, 6 day break after an insipid performance the week before is huge. Wins by visiting clubs at subi will be few and far between this year.

Critical win in terms of the season. Well done blue boys

We took their ugly game plan and stuck it right up 'em!

That third quarter effort was incredible and the boys just threw themselves at everything but by about the 20th minute of the third quarter they had nothing left in the tank and just struggled to run with the same intensity in the last. We really sat back in that last quarter and were asking for trouble but physically I am not sure we could have expected much more from them considering the circumstances. They were just playing on heart in the end.

The umpiring was suspect to say the least and I agree with Agro that HTB against Judd was a travesty of the highest order. So to the holding, scragging and pushing in the back of Hampson and Waiter in 2-on-1 scenarios. Not to mention the 4-way conversation between maggots that gave an on the full free to Fremantle when the ball clearly came off Hampson's upper thigh.

It was funny watching the Freo supporters getting progressively more and more pissy over the course of the match - they were just about ripping out the seats early in the last quarter. I don't think they have the players to win ugly, but they certainly don't have the patience to lose ugly...
