Just had a thought...
Imagine the stae of Ratts mind if he hears the news that his wife's waters have broken and theres 5 minutes to go in the game and we're up by less then a goal....

Honestly, I don't think Ratts would even hear it if someone did happen to mention it. He strikes me as someone for whom footy is 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The comments from the players re when he turned it around as a coach was when he started to talk to them about stuff other than footy.
I reckon he will remain 100% on the game and would do so even if we're 10goals up with 5mins to go!

My bet is he'll be subbed as a precautionary measure if he makes it to 3/4 time.

Very concerned about this game.

I have no expectations of a win here. I just want/yearn for the victory.

What a difference a week makes... I just want to see how they respond to the tripe dished out last week.

It'll be interesting to see if last week has dented the players' confidence - make no mistake, Freo will attemp to be physical like Essendon* were last week and like Hawthorn have been the past few years.

Nowhere to hide.

Time to stand up. If we can't handle the physicality of the Essendon*'s and Fremantle's in April, god forbid a game in September against Geelong or Hawthorn.

I reckon it will be all about redemption and retribution this week. We will hit them hard and hit them early.

The way i see it is this...................

We loose - we don't have the depth to cover us and we really are a step behind others in a race for the Top 4.

We win - we should quite comfortably believe in ourselves that last week was hickup and we are genuine contenders.

All teams loose during the season. It's how you bounce back that separates you!

I hope we are not loose. We will need to tighten up and then we won't lose.

I had to do it.....

If we bring the same game we brought against the pies we'll smash them by 6-8 goals! We need Kruz & Hammer to dominate the ruck & tap it over the conjestion & have our runners pounce on it!

Army to Hill & will do the job on him as he has in the past.

AJ to that germ Ballantyne so long as he doesn't get sucked in & give dumb frees away & let Hendo take Pav whenever he goes forward.

Sounds funny but I'd rather be playing these guys at Subi than the dome, we love this fast track.

Go Blues....2012 we have arrived.

27 degrees and no wind! A lot of cloud about and BoM radar showing light showers around metro area. Maybe a sprinkle but it shouldn't be wet weather football.

Will be heading off very shortly. Terribly nervous.

Hopefully 'good carlton' can put on a show for all and sundry. Just want the win, badly.

Go Blues!!

Very, very unlucky Bower. Why ommit Bower with Laidler out?
I still think we are 1 big man short. Not long to go now though.
