Paraphrasing Ross Lyon on 6pr tonight.

Very respectful of our strengths. Playing 'circle work' with us is a recipe for disaster. Intend to be physical and put us under pressure. Our strength is contested ball and that is currently a weakness for them. Likely to study essendons tactics from sat.

Not earth shattering but no doubt the boys will get the opportunity to shake the soft tag.

He also said sandilands is likely to play. Copped a knock to the knee and bleed to the calf apparently.

I can't think of any other player that has survived for so long on the basis of one good year so long ago.

McPhee in 2003......Bruce 2004.......?

If Sandilands has a crook calf I hope he does play.

I hope our a grade midfield was watching afl360 and on the couch tonight.

I expect an appropriate response not just on Friday but for the rest of the year.

^ What did they say? (Apart from dribbling all over Golden Boy on OTC)

I'd rather Sandilands play - means Kreuzer and Hampson know they have to bring their A-game. No doubt Freo will plant him in the goal square a lot if he's not 100% though.

Will the team fly out tomorrow?

Ratts in his presser saying that Army and Walks are straight back this week. Laids, Yazza and Curnow are 50/50. Yazza ran today and will depend on how he pulls up.

they'll add more run and pace that's for sure

Yazz, Curnow & Laidler won't play by the sounds of it so with Carrotts out that make at least 4 changes

Ratten said in the presser that Yarran ran well today.

"Yaz hurt a ligament in his toe. He ran today so we'll have to see how he pulls up."

Walker has played one quarter of footy in the NAB cup. Surely he wouldnt come straight back in.
Sounds like Laidler is likely to miss if he requires surgery.
Outs;
Laidler, Carrazzo, Curnow, Mclean (harsh i know but on the big ground is too slow)
Ins;
Armfield, Thornton, Joseph, Ellard (sub)
