That's because the MC refused to move Gibbs further up the ground, despite all the preseason talk.

I reckon Laidler and Yarran being injured had a fair bit to do with this too.

McPhee has lined up Betts by the look of it

Interesting to see how he reacts

I agree. Gary Lyon is a muppet on all accounts.

Bartlett has his digs and jibes, but Lyon is just a you-know-what. Kinda makes me happy that day over 10 years ago when I clocked him on the scone with a golf ball at a charity event in Point Cook.

I just want the guys to show the same intensity they did for the first 3 rounds.

 So how exsactly do you spell Ross Lyin'?

This will leave Zac Clarke to ruck, he is good i rate him but they lose him up forward now and their second ruck will either be Kepler Bradley or Jonathan Grififin

Haven't heard or read anything about this. Where did you hear about it????

Doc Larkins said on game day he could miss 1-2 weeks

CARLTON will be without in-form midfielder Andrew Carrazzo and possibly Ed Curnow, Jeremy Laidler and Chris Yarran for its trip to Perth to face Fremantle on Friday night.
Carrazzo fractured his shoulder blade in a tackle by Essendon*'s Sam Lonergan, with Larkins saying he would "probably (miss) eight weeks".

Laidler re-injured the left knee he dislocated against Western Bulldogs in the NAB Cup in the opening minutes at the MCG yesterday.

Though he returned to the field, he was restricted and is in doubt for the Blues' trip west.

Yarran was in obvious discomfort with a toe injury, but Carlton said it was nothing more than a "jarred toe".

Curnow left the field in the first term with a rolled ankle, but was able to play out the remainder of the match.

But Carlton's task of toppling a red-hot Fremantle could be made easier by a calf injury to Dockers ruckman Aaron Sandilands.

Sandilands was inhibited against St Kilda on Friday night and Larkins said he would be restricted in training next week

If losing to the Bombres means we pull our fingers out and beat this mob over there, something we've struggled with recently, then we'll almost break even.

We play well against Freo Woj - beat them last year by about 3 goals.

McPhee was one of the Dockers' best in last Friday's 13-point win over St Kilda, restricting Milne to just nine possessions and one goal while collecting 20 disposals himself.

Milne is only averaging 11 disposals a match, so McPhee restricting him to 9 isn't that big a deal. Eddie is joint leader for goals and he only averages 11.8 disposals a game.

The article says that Fyfe will come in after his shoulder injury. Bring in Aaron Joseph and get him to slam his shoulder into the turf ala Carazzo. Cos clearly that is worth only a free kick.

We need to get some dirty mongrel about us. We are a bunch of fairies at the moment.

We've only beaten them three times since 2002 but hopefully we play like the last time we met them.

And I'm saying we've struggled to beat them recently, which includes more than just our last game

Come on boys bounce back then everyone can relax a little because we can be still quite easily be 8 and 2 by rnd 11 7and 3 would b disapointing.
I agree t-bird is a must we are lacking a swing player and he is perfect forat role if i see bower, jamo or laidler up forward il be sick.
I wonder if they thought of swinging hendo up there seeing that he has played there before and the other blokes havent??? :screwy:
Terrrble effort by the entire club on the w/e players and coaches. Responding with a win this week is a must.

Come on blues dig deep

Thats it Darth. If you are chasing him just bring him straight down from behind. Feet off the ground so all your weight is behind drilling him into the ground. As long as the ball is around the area its fair play. Lonergan has shown the way. Give away the free but who cares if it leaves them a man down. Once done with Fyfe move on to Hill. Hope they dont get Judd though.

The AFL have ballsed this one up. Its open slather. The bombers will shelve it for now but they will bring it out again. Finals if they make them would be the perfect time.

You wouldn't think they would bring Walker straight in like that. Hampson deserves a shot at redeeming his last game.
Id say Curnow will miss and Mclean will be saved. Will be good to see how he goes in team with pace to cover his lack of. Last weeks team was slow on paper and worse with Laidler ,Curnow and Yaz on the hobble.

Out:- Carrazzo in Joseph.
Laidler in T Bird
Yaz in Russ
Curnow in Armfield

Get some pace back into the team and cover defence like for like (kind of).
