Pros:

Lucas was pretty good.
Eddie's effort to kick 4 goals.
Waite (although his kicking for goal was pretty horrible today).
Didn't give up.

Cons:

Really, really poor intensity. Club didn't respond well to last week's slashing performance. How many times did Carlton have an extra player or 2, and still manage to lose the contest?
Injuries, fumbling and disposal were all really bad.
I love Robbo, but he had a shocker today. Kept putting himself under pressure when he didn't need to, and then simply gave the ball to the opposition.
Brock had a good last quarter. But is only capable of contributing once everyone else is absolutely knackered. Can't imagine we'll ever see him at AFL level again.
And what is it with Hendo and marking contests inside forward 50? He's got lovely hands when playing defence, but seems to absolutely freeze when presented with the chance to take an easy mark down forward.

Pros:

TC gets interesting

Cons:

The 'pre-season doubters' come back to TC

Pros
Lauchie was great!
Murph, Simmo, Scotland, Juddy and Eddie were good
Good games into Zach, Lucas who will get heaps out of the game.
Walks will slip straight back in.

Cons
Brock cannot cut it at this level - tried so hard but not up to it when the game is hot.
Jarred Waite - brain fades, dreadful kicking and just dumb football. Lost some faith in him after today. It was all there and he didn't get it done. Very disappointing!
Bower cannot cut it.
Yarran plays like a millionaire on a pauper's budget. Plenty to work with there, arrogance is not justified just yet.
Poor tackling today.
Poor kicking for goal - still!
Robbo has the effort but no class at all. Great sides have class, we didn't display enough today.
Out coached.
Intensity at the contest was poor.

Pros: Back to reality....but as Ratts would say; ''It's early doors''

Cons: Our inability to win it anyway when we could've.

Cons

-bomber blitz will be going into meltdown
-Monfries celebrating like he'd kicked the winning goal in a grand final
-Carlton breathing new life into Alwyn Davey's career

-Carazzo
-Laidler
-Yarran
-Curnow

Pros

We can only go up from here

He wasn't the worst.
However, you can't play him AND Curnow in the same team. 1 only or we are too slow.

Army should be back next week. Hopefully Walker.
Maybe you bring in AJ.
We were slow today.

Pros:

Live in SA. Can avoid the aftermath.

Cons:

New Football rights meant we got the game live rather than the old days of Port and Crows on both free to air and Foxtel.

Monfries kicking the sealer. Malthouse stating that his celebration didn't mean that it was all about him. Yeah, right.

Fletcher being lauded for doing anything. ie deliberate out of bounds, fumbling out of bounds etc

Everything else.

Not sure about the 'cant play Curnow/Mclean' in same side call. Lack of intensity and run from all players was the problem. Bombers had Watson, Hocking, Howlett, Stanton in the same midfield yet just wanted it more.

If we got bullied and intimidated physically by Essendon*, god help us against West Coast and Hawthorn.

Pros

Essendon* didn't kick well. Saved total embarassment
Murphy pretty good
Robinson had about 16 inside 50s
I had $5 on the scum @ 7's

Cons
Every one of Robinson's inside 50s went to an Essendon* defender
seemed to have a belief that we could just switch it on when required, but forgot to flick that switch
Injuries, not so much today as they had their share of big names, but in the medium term it'll hurt us.

Pittsburgh Penguins won game 5 3-2 to stay in the playoffs.

Yeah that's about all.

Pros:

Can't thing of one and if people are honest with themselves, they'd agree with me. Saying a 'player' was OK is not a positive for me.

Cons:
Well, were do I start?

Injuries yes, but not the reason we lost
We let them bump, grind us into the ground (tackles) - basically bashed us around and we did nothing
They played to our feared weakness' and we had no answer
Pressure/press = no existent
Tackling = pi$$ weak
Decision making = amateur hour at times
Today I found out the Bower is not in our best 22 and McLean will never be
Made @#$%&! pea heart Davey look good
Scoreboard flattered us
Their bravery status has now reached biblical status

Pros;
Lucas was good, although his poor effort ( i am sure we all saw it) spoilt it slightly
Hendo even though he made silly mistakes

Cons;
Too many to mention but will give it a go
Terrible intensity, i felt the game was gone minutes into the first quarter
Waite
Injuries, shows how important Carrazzo is
Sloppy disposal
Kicking for goal again
We made Essendon* look good.

Con:

Playing like the millionaires I said we shouldn't.

Losing to these bunch of wank stains.

Getting a whole bunch of text messages from Collingwood scum.

Pros:

I'll get back to you.

Waite was our best player, according to Ratts. And I agree with him. Terrific game as a tall forward, especially given the delivery. But obviously he butchered the ball when kicking at goal.

Too many brain fades and also plays like a millionaire on a pauper's budget.

If that was our coach's opinion then :yikes:. Oh I get it, he was playing to instructions......
