Think I'd rather have lost to the filth and smacked the Bummers

Of all teams to play like this against.

Well, Waite has undone a pretty good final quarter by another stupid free. His net effort for tonight is not good enough. We have about 18 fit players and that was just weak.

My question is this:

Why didn't they play like that for the whole game instead of one quarter.

Today has been a major embarrassment for us. Make no mistake about it.

I am filthy at the players and all involved.

Bombers supporters enjoying a round 4 win. Deja vu.

Easy answer there was no pressure in final quarter, as game was already lost.

When it was for winning we went to pieces, not mentally strong enough.......yet?

They get all bragging rights. Pulled our pants down today and are now 4 zip.

Pants down is a win by ten goals in a final. This was a 5 goal win against a team well below there best for whatever reason,

Seriously if the AFL is serious about the sling tackle, they should fine Essendon* today. I have never seen so many. Clearly, the strategy is to take blokes out of the contest.

The bottom line is we know we can beat them but today we were not switched on and had too many passengers. As BS said, Waite was deplorable today. Zero value.

Thought Murphy really battled hard all day. One of the few.

Also we were a man down for the whole game from what was a very dirty tackle.

Only one that will get looked at is Lonegarn, due to the Carrazzo injury. The rest they wont bother with.

We won last years final :-)

Good luck to them, I know we were well below 2nd gear most of today, if it was a final we will belt them. This was a false dawn for the Bombers like last years draw.

They went in with a plan and executed it well. We, on the other hand couldn't counter it.

We lick our wounds and move on. Mind you, if Ratten blames the media for calling us flag favourites. I'll SPEW UP!!!

Look at the excuses piling up already...just face it were not good enough MENTALLY and believe our own hype every single @#$%&! time someone pumps us up!

Outplayed and out coached, shame that last week got to the players' heads YET AGAIN and they turned up thinking they would win.

Kudos to Lachie Henderson though, what a difference 12 months makes, the same fixture last year he was ridiculed and today he was by far out best.
