Not sure if it's been pointed out but it's not unlikely we could end up a game clear on top of the ladder at the end of this round...

This talk from Lloyd about Essendon* already conceeding (tanking) default on Saturday and looking to ANZAC smells like a smokescreen and hoping to catch us unaware.

Don't in get sucked in Blues and think its a walk in the park...

Swans v North is the interesting one- no goodes but it has been very wet and tight ground at SCG not sure if the handball tactic will work

Not very often you support the Hawks but it would be good if they knocked off the Eagles this week

It is a possibility

I hate barracking for Hawthorn but I badly want them to beat the Eagles this week.

How was Monga on the Footy Show last night banging on about how they should DEFINITELY rest Hurley, Watson, etc...I'm so sick of the Bummers and their stupid games.

I just hope they give McLean a few games in a row ... 4 or 5 games please. His role in the team needs to be determined now or never ...

I don't think McLean will suit against Fremantle, but he could definitely play against GWS, Port and Adelaide.

Quite frankly, just want the four points.

I’m never overly confident going into any game. After watching them against GC, I didn’t think they’d pose too many problems for us.

Must admit nerves have started to kick in as the week has progressed. Probably a combination of my nervous nellie personality and the opposition in question.

As long as we are not complacent, take them seriously and don’t think it’ll be a walk in the park, it’s hard to see how we won’t win. We’d have to do a lot wrong.

Not convinced it’ll be the smashing that some predict but lets hope so.

Ideally, we’ll get on top early and snuff out any hope they might come in with.

The team Essendon* are fielding is not far off full strength when you look at it.

If they can get a lead early it might put a bit of wind in their sails

We need to get an early lead, don't let them play flee flowing rebound footy, and as the game wears on they will start to think about Anzac day and take their foot off the pedal

Blues by 3 goals

Congratulations to Brock McLean, I hope that he has a great game. We need this type of player in our side to help Judd and Murph and to show others what commitment is about.

I beg o differ...
From their possible best 22, they ll be without McVeigh, Hille, Lovett-Murray, Winderlich, Colyer and probably Dempsey

..we'll smash them on the inside, but if the game becomes open, we'll decimate them.. ..they're shizen this year for handball receives, and their 'run and spread' is worse than the pies.. ..run them off their legs, spike up their soft tissue concerns and knock down their sheety percentage i says..

Probably need to look at the difference in output between these guys and the players replacing them.
Dempsey is currently in but if he were to miss I reckon he and Winderlich are the only players out of that lot that would provide a significant difference in output.
