Interesting, going by that and unless I have made a mistake, one coach gave Murphy 5, the other gave him 0.

Either that or one coach has given Scotland 4 and the other 0. Are the individual votes from each coach released?

No, but sometimes you hear what one coach voted.

Greg Swann on AW` said 3rd week in a row for 1 mill viewers watching Carlton games. I`m pretty sure they said Carl` v Coll` was the most watched H&A game since 07` Anzac Day. Also said the club made $800,000 from the gate.

I've got a concern about the game.

We dominated; probably had the best 10 players on the ground; murdered them in the ruck; won the clearances 50-32; won the contested ball 151-123; the I50s 58-39 and kicked reasonably accurately (always a worry).

Carrots kept Pendlebury to 15 possies (when P dropped that sitter in the last I thought he has to be ill)and most of Swan's 31 were playing keepings-off on their full-back line. Cloke was unsighted.

I would say maybe 18 of our players had a "Neeld benchmark" game compared to maybe 3 or 4 of theirs.

Surely we should have won by over 100 points?

Sorry, I'm a worry-wart.

We definitely took the foot off the gas in the last. And Collingwood packed their D50.

Don't be concerned.

Also shows that we still have improvement left in us especially in regards to converting all of our opportunities, and therefore didn't necessarily just win because 'we played a perfect game, that was one out of the box'.

Watching the pies resort to flooding was pretty funny.

I think we also were is shock at how easy it was and failed to capitalise at times.

We got a bit rattled in the second when they threw an extra behind the ball and that is a bit of a worry for me. Teams that push back and then explode forward when they get the ball seem to bother us. Have done for a couple of years now. When i see us get on top of that tactic i will be very confident.
I think the pies dont have the pace to pull of that stunt for longer than 15 mins but teams like north , hawks and st kilda might be a concern.

Always great smashing the pies by 10 goals. Hopefully it becomes a common thing.

Great point.
The kangas have done it to us probably 5 years in a row.

Club29, the pies don't have the pace but st kilda do?? I would have thought st kilda is one of the slowest sides going around

I'll just add I agree with your point in general, just not that st kilda would be included

Agree with all of the above, but it generally has only worked at Etihad where we have struggled to find that space up forward.
