This I agree with.

The biggest discussion should be not ins/outs but who gets the green vest.

Duigan should start on the ground.

He is though and by a fair margin. Don't get me wrong Kreuzer is gooad and more consitant but Ryder in his currant form shits all over him from a great height.

yeah let watson go head to head with judd and murphy

carazzo will take stanton to the cleaners while also carving up the midfield

if we get 1AW back in a few weeks and dont lose anyone it will be the strongest team we have fielded in over a decade

Wow. Essendon* fans sure do have a bee in their bonnet over Ryder, don't they?

It's not like the two players will ever be swapped. I'm sure 100% of Carlton fans wouldn't trade Kreuzer for Ryder, and I'm sure 100% of Essendon* fans wouldn't trade Ryder - primarily because he jumps high, from what I have read. I'm sure NONE of those same Essendon* fans have been the type to call for Ryder to be dropped/traded/delisted over the last few years during one of his many spells of being borderline comatose on the field.

Good luck to us both, I say.

Anyway, on to the game.

Carlton belted the suitcase out of this mob twice last year with a team significantly weaker than the 22 who will be taking the field this week. If the players bottle the hunger from Friday night and bring it along with them Saturday, I think it will be three pastings in a row. Essendon* will have too many question marks over too many players this week. Never mind the MCG factor. If we get a fine day it could get ugly. Essendon* will be praying for rain.

Sultana O'Hailpin is almost better than Ryder

What, stronger than the great Carlton sides of the mid 2000s?

Watson won't go head to head with Judd or Murphy

Hocking will get Judd and push forward to actually make Judd play both ways. Judd has shown in the past he can be burnt by not paying his man enough respect.

Murphy is your best player (I am obviously not a Carlton supporter) and I hope Jimmy sends Howlett to do a mega hard tag on him.

Essendon* do not want it to rain.

They do need to get it in long to Ryder (who I imagine Henderson will get) to exploit Carelton in the air

Gibbs is a super star

he doesnt get the flashy roles

he gets the team job done every week

once our backline settles and he moves up the ground watch him dominate in a more obvious manner

This is what I love about Essendon* fans. Complete, blissful ignorance. It makes me chuckle.

Sorry... you're absolutely right. kreuzer has shown, to this point in his career, absolutely zero overhead pack marking ability. Kreuzer's marking ability is a major concern to all Carlton coaches and fans - would you mind sparing Ryder to come down to training for a week to give our guy a pointer or two?

EDIT: Where's the wookie when you need him!!! :hitcomputer:

He has one good quality. He can kick. not a midfielders backside though and I would be pretty pissed if I wasted a number 1 pick on a half back

Tab odds
Carlton 1.16
Scummers 5

Won't be surprised if they rest a few here knowing full well they have no hope & just prepare themselves for the maggots 5 days later.
