Well yes an no. Think of it this way. We blew about 4 gimmies in the 1st quarter so we should have been 8 goals up long before the Pies got any injury problems. Keep that in mind when outsiders over analyse things during the week and try to talk the result down because they were injury struck.

The reality is we had the covered from the get go. And that means we're a much better team that we were last year and we have room for improvement.

Yeah but we still haven't beaten a top 4 side this year!

And next week we can't either

Part of me was thinking about the six day break versus eight day, and the Collingwood injury problems, but as has already been pointed out, we did the damage in the first quarter when all that was irrelevant, or hadn't happened.

It reminds me of one of my favourite games back in '92: the Collingwood centenary game, when we spanked the filth after a five day break, had injury issues, and they'd recently won a flag.

It might sound like hubris, but I think we should've won by more, but if I'd been offered a ten goal win before the game, I'd have taken it as a dream result.
