No.
Kruezer is ours.
Home grown blue.
And he is also a great guy.
Pendles is a champ but I wouldn't trade a crowd favorite

Glad you've canvassed the discussion and summarised it for us all...

Kreuzer's not as good as Pendlebury, but I think Kreuzer adds much more to our team. Our mid-field is our strength, and while Pendlebury would add more quality, it would be less in percentage terms compared to what Kreuzer adds to our following division, and that's before we consider how much more improvement the big man has left in him.

No deal!

Someone finally gets it.

The thing is JW, I think the same applies to Collingwood. I reckon they would be better of with Kreuzer in their team than Pendlebury. I just couldn't get any of their dumb-arse supporters to agree with me. Hopefully MK gives them a demo tomorrow night of just how good he is.

Anyway, hopefully this thread dies now ... talking about what would make Collingwood better leaves me feeling a bit queasy.

Dont think you can say that actually. There is an 18mth age difference (effectively 2 seasons).

So the comparison that needs to be made would be kreuzer this season compared to pendlebury in 2010 and by projecting how kreuzer might continue to improve over the next couple of seasons (not an unreasonable assumption given when ruckmen normally mature)

If you did that, then the gap between the 2 players might not be as definitive

No doubt I should've added 'at the moment', as I think Kreuzer is going to develop into the AFL's best ruckman, and I include Naitinui in that assessment.

What a stupid thread. Kreuzer is untradeable. Hammer is too. If they want a ruckman they can have Warnock for Pendlebury. After last night that is a fair deal.

Kreuzer's brain is what sets him apart from most others. He understands the idea of keeping the ball moving forward. Very rare. We don't need Pendles for anyone. He's a great player, but we can't afford him and he'd only knock someone out of an already very good side.

I'd do Pendlebury for Carazzo. But they'd have to throw in steak knives as well.
