Agree Agro. Even decided to mark the second one a 'pack mark' as apparently that was one of the main criteria that made Krakourer's so much better than Walker's last year.

Just give us the Cup now!

The next few years are going to be exciting being a Carlton fan.

Wow! Just back from a long planning meeting and dinner in Downtown Beijing. Managed to sneak a peek at the scores occasionally on the phone. Really looking forward to watching the game over the next day. Great win now bring on the black and white mob.
Go Blues!

Next to our, season defining NAB Cup game, against Brisbane a few weeks ago.

Obviously some of the stars were outstanding. But really pleased with another good performance from Curnow and Lucas and Bower. And perhaps Tuohy's best game at AFL level. Waite makes a huge difference for us. Thornton keeps contributing. He appears to have finally learnt to tackle and apply defensive pressure. That's 2 weeks in a row where his tackling pressure has created goals.

Would have liked to see more from Hammer after last week's break out game. Gibbs was relatively quiet again (perhaps because the ball didn't get into our defence all that much). I guess once Duigan comes back in the side, Gibbs will move further up the ground?

Tuohy was simply fantastic.

Best game from the skipper in quite some time.

We were taking the Piss in that last quarter. No fight in the Lions at all. Doesn't matter about the 5 day break. They were at home coming off a huge away win.

Great win, but:

Hammer should never kick in-board from HBF;

Bower should only handball in an emergency;

Bower should try running on to his right foot occasionally;

Curnow must realise that evasion is not one of his strong points.

Wouldn't hurt Carrazzo to realize that either. :wink:

So glad I forked out for prime seats, it was simply an amazing night! Last game I saw up here was our 2009 finals game, so from that to tonight, simply amazing!

Judd- Amazing
Betts- Amazing!!!

Only caught the last five minutes of the game on fox, not sure if you guys saw a lot of the off the ball stuff kept it really interesting!

Didnt post it but 100% agreed with Synbad about Bower - Glad to to see him getting a crack. Dont agree with much else but thats cause Ive always beeen glass half full.

Biggest diff for mine was our composure - 3 years ago against a good team we would have coughed it up - rather we held it didnt panic and poped of to a team mate who again didnt panic and continued until we found space.

Have to be taken seriously now though. We make top 4 we are a real contenter. Why? cause if we get there its going to be well earned. No one is going to take us lightly and we are going to be seen as a prized scalp

More support there tonight for Carlton than Brissy I reckon. Not that the Lions supporters had much to get excited about.

Didn't have the best of seats, but with that performance, they were still fantastic.

The Murphy tap to Judd was simply porn. It most likely won't be even thought about for GOTW, but definitely should in terms of a team goal, and also the effort Smurph went to to keep the ball in when most would have let it run OB, and the vision he had to flick it into Juddy's path for the pick up and goal.

Moist!

My favourite moment is in the 2nd quarter where two Brissie players are going for the ball and Robbo dives in between them and paddles it back to Juddy who takes off.

I realise that the way holding the ball is interpreted these days you're probably right and it should have been holding the ball......but surely you're still allowed to break a tackle?

Ignoring the first quarter, I was absolutely salivating by the blues rithless clinical efficiency. I was expecting 40+ (Thats what I backed then on centrebet) however 90+ what an outstanding result.

The thought of Pendlebury/Swan V Judd/Murphy has my mouth watering!!!!!!

So many highlights. Can't wait to watch the replay.

Loved the tackle by Thornton to turn it over for Murphy's goal.

Hendo & Lucas were good too :wink: :wink:
