That's like when the commentators always talk about "they're coming hard"

Nab cup form! FFS when will people stop taking that joke of a pre-season as current form!

As soon as the Blues can prove that the way they played pre-season has not carried over into the proper season.

I guess we'll know in 9 hours or so.

Fact is for them to win something out of the ordinary will have to happen, like us off our game significantly, we kick really inaccurately, or some Richmond players have like career best games.

I shouldn't have to tell you that Carlton are known to be masters of being off the game and kicking inaccurately.

We did only lose 2 games to sides below us last year, and I can only really think of 2 games where we really didn't fire much of a shot last season.

As I said earlier I find it very bizzare what people in the media are saying about this match. Thing is if we flog them by 10 goals, they will claim it was to be expected.

You mean like the AFL "experts"

8/12 picked Richmond

Saved an image of the tips because i'm sure it will disappear by round 3....

The fact that Daniel Harford is on there, tells you what sort of standard they are setting. Bachar Houli?? Really?

What a joke that is.

YHIHF: Carlton by 46 points

Richmond are already an elite team when it comes to ball use. Their disposal effectiveness was tied for third in 2011, only behind Hawthorn, and level with St.Kilda and Geelong. That’s as elite as company can get. We know they use the ball well, the problem is getting first use of it during a 50/50 contest.

Danger game...and with only pre-season form to go on, I'd go the Tigers too. FWIW - I think it'll be a draw.

I will be playing a drinking game for tonight's match.

One shot for every time Paul Bower makes a clanger.

I shall be blind drunk by Quarter time.

Shouldn't be too hard, they tend to spread like butter.....
