we must be slow learners, we did that last week!

We've got the "allow 8 or 9 consecutive goals" bit down pat

Letting through 7 goals that quarter after 4 a piece each quarter before would indicate our defence is struggling.

Who's on the half back flanks?

Like everyone else I am a bit concerned, we are clearly behind other sides at this moment in time.

Im thinking of a few possible reasons.

1. The obvious, we are just underdone, focusing more on peaking later in the season.

2. Because of injuries our strategy of going softly softly into R1 is backfiring, with too many players with too little game time.

3. Without the big guns firing, our next tier isn't as good as we like to think.

4. None of this means anything, and it will be business as usual in R1.

5. It's all about getting better odds for the Tiggers game and for the season :banghead:

That's why he looks a long way off - he's in another suburb

Only 3 goals down now. Have we been "foxing"?

Can anyone tell me how lucas and AJ have gone? they aren't on the AFL stats sheet...

Lucas and Joseph along with Watson have all played after half time. Doesn't sound like any of them have been able to really get into the game, a few possessions and a few turnovers.

My only problem with the focus being on later in the year is that if you don't get out of the blocks well, the end of the year becomes academic. I really hope they know what they're doing. We really didn't have many out today in terms of those who are available due to fitness.

Just logged in. Doesn't sound positive. I'll read about it tomorrow.

Lucas getting plenty of kicks and Watson presenting as a useful target. Searching for positives!
