You're not trying hard enough.

Not even a snigger.

I already re-tweeted their response to me. I warned them, and they made it perfectly clear they had no idea what they were doing.

It was pretty hot out there today. Looked pretty good in the first half but came out after the break and hardly got the ball, and when we did we just gave it straight back. Good first half, woeful second half.

I bought another one so I could blend it again. I burnt an effigy of Ratts this evening also.

Pros:
Using Casbolt as a marking target for the kick out.

Jamo took a few years to get to the player he is. If McCarthy and Watson take a couple of years so be it.

Con:
Louis and Longer more active than Hammer at bounces.

The odds might be juicy for the Tigers clash! Seriously...no need for concern. Match fitness levels the only worry. Took a look at the Cats for 5 minutes and they were pretty ordinary today too. Like us, missing a few stars. Would have been nice to have a win for confidence, but a few (ok...10) haven't found the form yet. That will come.

Give them a break, Jim, they have a lot on their plate.

Was thinking that myself.

Those feral pumpkins will drive the odd's WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY up.

Are there odd's for NOT making the eight?

Russell in our best. Is that 2011 Russell or 2010 Russell? will we see him again this year?

Plenty for the coaches to learn from todays game. Lots of players trialled in different positions and it's interesting to see how players adapt when they're not surrounded by senior experience.
Probably the main area of concern will be the way the midfield was dominated after half time. Really, Murphy and Carrots were only our true centre square mids to miss.
The way we conceded clearances was a real eye opener.
Plenty of work for Mark Riley to do.

I like the workrate of Kane Lucas but he needs to keep working on his disposal. Too many of his kicks end up being 50/50 contests. Another solid effort from Zac Tuohey. He's going to be a topliner in the near future.
Good also to see Yaz get a run in the middle. It gives him an idea of how much work he needs to do to become an AFL midfielder.

Now officially the worst performed team in the NAB Cup.

Players like Russell, Watson, Mclean and Ellard are not up to it and should not play round 1.

Andrew Colllins has been extremley good this pre season and should play round 1.

If Ratten was picking players on form for round 1, Collins and Touhy would be the first two picked.

Ratten has some serious issues with the players ranked 15-30 on the list. The depth does not run as deep as we think.

To many players will be underdone against Richmond and we are ripe for the picking for the Tigers to start their resurance.

Might start 0-4.

Dwayne Russell would have taken a big box of tissues to bed with him tonight.

Robinson?

Anyway, it does seem we lack midfield depth yet we did little to address it at the previous draft. :?

:P

I actually doubt it was the signal or the Bigpond CDN, per se. They were broadcasting from a sheet metal booth, and the bitrate on the video would have been no more than 256 kbps. It's no coincidence that 256 kbps is lowest quality setting on Bigpond's CDN.

Schoolboy error.

In the Telstra column is the pitiful excuse they call a codec, such that they stream 2 MBit videos that look like arse, and it's some how MPEG-4? Just give people the link for a better codec and call it a day if they can't work out how to download and install something.

Should we reach to address a need? :?

Using that logic, we should have picked Davis or Vickery instead of Yarran.
