Doggies nearly at full strength here - only missing Morris and Gilbee

Casboult has been the only permanent key forward in the setup, so he's had plenty of chances to do something and he's not doing that much. He's making some progress, but it's not like he's being held back either.

Rowe, Brock, fraser and Thornton suited up in the jumper and having a kick to kick with each other, so not sure if we are doing a 4 player swap at half time.

Watson & Bootsma will likely play as well.

Doggies defenders seem to be masters of the subtle nudge in the back just as the player is about to mark. Not noticed by the umps. Shock.

Liking Curnow's work. With that hair he looks a bit like Kouta circa '94...

The Laidler injury obviously the major concern (fingers crossed he'll be OK for Round 1), but as others have mentioned we are being scored too easily against. Intensity not the same in the NAB Cup, and we still have some key players missing, but we look far from a top 4 team at the moment. I reckon we're overdoing the long kicks into the forward 50 too. Lucas very quiet this week. Don't care about the result, but looking for no more injuries and an improvement in playing style in the 2nd half.

What a stupid referral system this is. Nothing is conclusive except whether it crossed the goal line.
