If Judd and Murphy go down Carlton will be in serious trouble.

Ridiculous comment after 30 minutes of pre-season football. Lucas in good nick, Kerr having a go in midfield, Watson showing he needs to work on his technique in 1-on-1 contests and Curnow in fine nick.

+1

McCarthy to learn to kick over the player in front of him too. Twice caught out, one off the mark. Tis the time to see them in action which is good.
Carter was impressive.
Hopefully Watson goes again, needs to improve the body contests as you said Jimmae.

Jeffy was good when he came on.

Incisive comment that. Take the best two players out of any team and they might struggle.

In our successful years we used to get smashed per season. Keep it in perspective people. Nab round robin cup. And you really care. Get over it:)

Watson was smashed by Butcher in the 1st half.

Lucas turns the ball over way to often.

These are the types of players who need to shine pre season and put pressure on the senior players in order for Carlton to improve this year.

Poor setting of the defensive line, and that's been a problem for 18 months now.

Butcher was carving teams up last year; he's not slouch and an awkward matchup for Watto.

Lucas is the same as every other player who was scrubby and inconsistent as they blew up after runs. Use that noggin of yours and think through the situations facing players on the field.

Yarran to Dale to Garlett and the blokes in the box are rubbish at judging distance, although given all the supposed goals from 55+m out over the years I shouldn't be surprised.

ANOTHER ONE OVER THE TOP... FFS.

You would think we'd be on top of that after so many last year.

It's a mental laspe by committing too many numbers into mid-coverage in the zone. Every other sport in the world has better deep coverage, and they have offside rules.
