Any info on the kids? Senior players we know what they provide.

Re kids not much to report. Boots didn't play. Mccines n McCarthy a few touches. Bucks bit of pace n a couple kicks. Carter a nice touch or two. I tend to focus on what stood out... In that regard bower was pretty good too n JR also but after a slow first half . For me the stories of the day were kruez, Levi n Sugar, but each has a differet story n background n thus reason for standing out.

Come on!!!!!!!!!

Carrazzo's pass (I am sure it was him in number 5) if you could call it that  to number 7 who kicked the first goal - was vintage Carrazzo, I don't know who in hell he was kicking it too but number 7 was no where in sight as Carrazzo kicked it directly to the player in pale blue.

Not sure it was number 7 who got the goal, but the player who kicked it was Murph. In fact, the player who kicked the goal may have been either Carrots or Mitch Carter.

The second goal was Carrazzo, and he was in #44 for navy all day.

Just checked, and that first goal was Kane Lucas.

I know there wasn't much competition but thought Carrots was let off the chain today n looked really good with the freedom. Was always a ball magnet. Maybe coach has realized we need another in n under n Carrots has improved his usage in recent years? Scotto
is 32 this year, n we have Ellard n Ed cmon thru so maybe Carrots steps up? Sure looked good today albeit it's not even a NAB Cup game

Well thats the last time that Murphy should be in Carrazzo's group for skills sessions during pre-season.

Carrazzo looks lighter, and he's playing with pace and lateral movement we haven't seen from him since his first couple of seasons at the club. He's roughly back to that playing weight.

Since when we're highlights restricted to goal kicking practice?

Lame effort from CFCTV. :|

If that free against Bower at the end was paid against him in the proper season I think we would all be a little disappointed with the umpire.

Carrots and Scotto have always been absolute stand outs in intra club matches. They are pure ball magnets. Nothing new there. I'd be shocked if they didn't dominate.

On another note, two of those holding the ball decisions in the footage were absolutely mortifyingly bad. Bower was barely tackled and I think McLean earlier on didn't even have the ball at the bottom of the pack when he was pinged.

Another reminder of the kind of rubbish we'll have to put up with again.

But it's good to see the boys back in action. Go big K!

All I've heard was how outstanding Kreuz was... If you just watched that you wouldn't even know he played :screwy:

Was still a bit of a stupid run from him when he had a short option in every direction and had already drawn a tackler.

What a bizarre comment
All highlights packages show the goals its like golf only show putts NRL only show tries and cricket only show wickets and boundaries
You may get the odd speccy shown but usually its the play leading up to and the goals
It was a good effort and continuation of good stuff that is coming out of the club lately

Almost identical to the incorrect free that was paid against Bower in our 2010 win against Essendon*. :garthp:

Mclean, Ellard and the third player in the clash guernsey were pinged for dragging in it and hatching it without an opponent scrapping for the ball.

Always a free.

Lucas showed terrific acceleration after he ran onto Murphy's deliberate chip kick.

If Lucas was Buddy, he could have run for another ten metres without having a bounce.
