 - no chance of getting there then.

Stupid time - I'd imagine that it rules out most people that have to work from getting there (as opposed to an afternoon match in previous years)

there's probably a reasonable explanation why it wasn't scheduled at something like 4 or 4.30pm - heat wouldn't have been a reason as they could've simply announced a re-scheduled 9.30am start if that were the case - as I said I'm sure there are sound reasons for that timeslot

Its definitely not heat - friday's forecast is clearing showers+24°C - outside of weather, there wouldnt be too many competing things that might justify a 9.30am start - particularly given the huge number of fans that normally turn up to preseason intraclubs (previous couple of years)

Perhaps if the club provided a reasonable explanation, people might not be as disappointed.

The club is holding an intra club match at this time because it is deliberatley trying to distance itself from it supporter base.

The club hates its members and is doing this to really piss them off.

Weren't intra clubs in past years often in the morning and the practice games against other clubs in the afternoons?

I long for the days when intra–clubs were at 4 p.m. on a 39 degree arvo.
Bring back parko!

No Yibbs, not a tweet observer, a trusted source passed it on. It sucks though, 4pm or later would have worked for me, too.

Pretty sure this is the case. Remember hearing about Santy booting Cloke just after lunchtime.

Not being a smartass MB21, but is it really an issue as long as your card arrives before rd1?

Somehow...............that is correct.

Our practice matches against Adelaide and Geelong at Visy were beauties last year.
Almost hope we drop out of the NAB, again.

Didn't take notice of that fact. Thank you.
It would still be great to have a Visy match if it so does happen to be. Enough time yet.

Unless we win our way through to the final, I'd say there will be one.
