Given how crucial he is, and given our glut of young tall defenders, I'd be resting Jamison until as late in the preseason as possible.

I'd also want them to give as much opportunity to Bower in the preseason as possible.

I don't know about a squad but what I would like to see:

Big K fully fit running around as a mobile Ruckman

Touhy, Lucas and Russell running through midfield

OKeefe as a weapon off HB

A more mature Watson

Bower on a wing

Bootsma

Garlett and Betts spending some time in the middle

Rowe, Henderson, Waite, Hammer all having time up forward

McInnes, McCarthy, Mitchell, Kerr, Casboult getting a taste of AFL level.

Yeah, like those but would prefer Bower running off HBF again, with Yazz trialled on the wing.

Plus Curnow showing up in the midfield again and seeing what McLean can provide in the centre.

Also, if Davies can add some more to his game and what AJ has in store after supposedly tearing it up in Doha etc.

Add to that if S.White & A.Collins are healthy & how/where they fit into the scheme of things.

I guess in regard to White and Collins, some players are just never going to be walk up starters. Where their true value lies is in the ability to seamlessly take on a given role when required without disrupting the mojo of the side as it was.
It's the number of players of this calibre waiting in the wings that make a truly good side. Apart from filling the role as above, they are constantly bashing on the selection door which obviously keeps the regulars on their toes.
Some genuine depth across the board this coming season.

Any form of 22 is impossible for me to name. Glad the job isn't mine!

That side would put up a good game for half the sides in the AFL.

Joseph Watson Laidler
Tuohy Bower Russell
Yarran Curnow Bootsma
Collins Henderson Kerr
Garlett Mitchell Rowe

Kreuzer Robinson Lucas

Ellard Hampson McLean Kerr

You'd think we don't really need to mess with playing the more senior players here, and that there are some players that need to be played here before seasons start
They would be Joseph, Bower, Tuohy, Curnow, Watson, Collins, Mitchell, Rowe, Kerr, Hampson and Lucas.
Bootsma will most likely also be played to see how he goes up against the big boys
