He has a wikipedia entry:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Hyde_(footballer)

which indicates that he is principal of Greenbrook Primary School in Epping.

Where was this guy when Peter Dean, Kouta, Michael Sexton etc were running around winning a flag in 1995???

What an un-mateship-like appointment.

which indicates that he is Principal of Greenbrook Primary School in Epping. Several Northern Knights players came from Greensborough / Diamond Creek and RH knows where they're coming from.

Darren Harris was demoted back to his development role when it became apparent that he was a very ordinary coach.

He sounds like a fantastic coach that will help fast track some of our young brigade.....

One question, What happened to Harris?? who I thought was also a very god coach.

Harris is an excellent coach who will be putting all of his attention into being the development coach rather than mixing both roles. Don't take any notice of Hotcox's lies.

If he was ordinary at his job they would've sacked him, like they did with Jake Edwards. He's the development coach and development academy manager, concentrating solely on that and having someone else coach the Bullants means they're beefing up and increasing the coaching staff, stop making up lies.

What a shit post.

Harris was spread too thin across too many roles, and is now concentrating on the role he was really brought to the club for: player development.

But I'm sure his year coaching the ants would've improved his skillset. All good.

Would have loved this appointment about 5 years ago. A move in the right direction.

Whether he can translate his success from the Northern Knights remains to be seen but what I do like is the fact according to the article he was sounded out by Ratts into applying for the job. Could easily have settled for the best of an average bunch of candidates.

Conundrum
