I’m of the same opinion. Certainly showed the poise and ability to find the ball to suggest he belongs.
I think we need another. Perhaps Yazz and allow Touhy to settle in his spot off half back? Although we probably take a hit there in that Zach doesn’t possess the sheer pace and class that Chris does. But I want Yarran in the midfield. This is where he needs to be moving towards. Hopefully another pre-season will give him the tank he requires.

But if one was for the taking in trade week (midfielder that is), I wouldn’t be too critical – as long as its not another Brock deal!!!

Make a definitive decision on Hampson playing FF all year (yes, every game)...don't deviate from it, train him to play that role all summer and 50 goals is highly likely.

We stuck with Yarran at HB all year even when it wasn't working and he's slowly grown into the role. Ditto with Hampson. The Paul Salmon of the 21st century. Mark it down

Correct. We need to stop pigeon holing Hampson as a ruckman. The guy could be anything. If he could improve his marking only, add another 30 goals to our season total. Betts, Garlett et al will feast on his crumbs and deft taps when he can't mark. But yes.....he needs a targeted pre-season of instruction and learning.
