Yep....we must aim for a Premiership next year - none of this incremental improvement with "home finals".....

Let's hope Geelong shits all over them

Ha - this cracked me up.

I note I got the result and margin pretty right.
Geelong should send us a thank you note - WC were stuffed.

For those who were at the match and can be bothered reliving the pain:

We may have lost today, but I reckon we would have given Geelong a much better contest than the dead Eagles...

Damn you umpires!

That technology is stunningly.

I have seen the same thing from (I think) a speech Obama was giving in the US at a huge gathering of people.

They used it at every U2 show in the US this year as well.

They needed a particularly large wide angle lens for some of the battle axes in the front row...

Sh*t.
I'm going cross-eyed trying to find that thing from the Essendon* game, (behind Walkers mark).
I bet it's in there somewhere.

Footy supporters are a desperate lot aren't we. I subjected myself to another viewing of this game last night - bad news is, we still lost.
A few more observations - the vital moments that cost us were Murph's early uncharacteristic misses, Juddy's wild kick across goal to Gaff for a goal in the 3rd (I think), Carrazzo's last quarter 20 metre pass to Garlett's feet rather than hands which went up the other end for a goal. Setanta's miss from a set shot in the last, marked well, just missed but it went up the other end for a WCE goal. The difference between the ball going back to the centre with us 2 points down, or them 14 points up. I think we would have won if he'd kicked that one.And of course Davies' brain fade. Warnock worked very hard but Cox and NicNat are terrific knock ruckman and won crucial decisive knockouts. Our set up in the middle allowed Kerr too much space, especially when Setanta was in the ruck. Setanta has height but his spring is average. We had to be set up defensively when he was in the middle. We missed Hammers size and leap which may have stopped the decisive knocks. Ellard is a great trier but lacks class. We badly need a Jordan Lewis or Andrew Swallow type. I think we were interested in lewis but alas he went a couple of picks to soon.
Hendo may be a workmanlike CHF, but he will be a star CHB, showed real class. WCE kicked about 3 or 4 goals that just made the line, we missed some simple shots. Darling did little, but what he did had real class. He nailed goals while we were missing them and don't ask me about the McGinnity fluke off the ground.
The last kick in by Tuohy that was contested by Walker and Glass could have easily been marked had we only had anyone tall nearby. Worst game ever by Juddy, no idea why we didn't at least try him up forward.
Wish we had won.
