To the bloke who just tried to register with the NineteenNinetyThree username - you guys cheated the salary cap that year. The only time a premiership winning team has been punished for salary cap breaches.

Because I know you dodo's (they dont fly either) read this thread, I am very glad that the AFL will conspire to fixture 2 Carlton -v- Essendon* games next season, because this gives us an automatic 8 premiership points. :wink:

Watched the game at a family members 18th birthday yesterday. Almost all there were Essendon* supporters. Some cheered when Thornton was knocked down. Almost all were rapt we lost.
Had to listen to them go on and on about their top 4 chances next year. Didn't enjoy myself much last night.

Top 4? And I guess they think we are missing the 8?

Essendon* people I talk to acknowledge they will be doing well to make the 8 again next year.
