I'm sure she's revving up the crowd with her slightly elongated words as she does.

I've got nothing against her as a writer, but as a TV personality and an MC she's like watching an average comedian, if said average comedian were dosed up on lithium.

Went along tonight.

Good crowd maybe 4K.

Most sat on grass but some in the stands.

Good atmosphere despite the result.

Hope they keep it up next year for games.

Watched it at The Great Northern. Was good but man it was packed - & hot.

Quite a few people there watching the rugby which swelled the numbers. Plus a few WCE fans/Carlton haters. Kind of wish I'd gone to Visy actually. How much did a beer cost there?

$5 for a beer.

I try and avoid watching games in pubs after the 09 elim - got hounded out by Carlton haters.

Was great fun. Beautiful night, well behaved crowd.

The "big screen" was a bit poor. Thought for a minute that they might have pulled down the old Elliot's folly screen for the occassion

$5 for heavies

5 dollars for heavies isn't as bad as I thought they would have it. Great work by the club.

I was there last night....

Loved the atmosphere, never heard 4,000 people be so loud.

I was with my brother in the legend stand yelling my lungs out and giving high 5's to strangers.

I turned into the radio in the last minute and called the Walker goal early.

I saw some guy punch the metal fence as he was leaving....i thought i would be hurting today

Congratulations to the Club on this great initiative...

I was there and the atmosphere was great...

I still think we can develop PP to an AFL superstadium........

It would be great if it happened, but with the new facilities in place of x amount of seating I'm not sure it can happen. Would be brilliant though if they went ahead and did it regardless. The standing room behind the goals up the facilities end would go right off and be the best spot in the house!

It wont be an AFL superstadium - but it will certainly be a VFL superstadium.

Get on board the "Northern Blues" playing at Visy Park in the VFL in Season 2012.

With a bit of luck they will play the VFL Grand Final there as well.

Please see all my comments in the past about the future of Princes Park.

It is a matter of political and commercial influence...

If the Club has that, we can make it happen.....

I can't believe people still don't realise what we are missing out on by turning out back on Princes Park as an AFL stadium. Even turning a blind eye at what Geelong is achieving and how well we aren't doing financially @ Etihad. Amazing, you can go black and blue in the face Mosquito Fleet and everyone will still ignore the obvious.

For what it's worth I think the next move we'll make ground-wise will be to the MCG. We'd all love Princes Park to return as our playing home ground but it won't happen.
