This should be good!!

I actually think that he will at least have the guts to make the tough calls against Eagles and not be persuaded by the crowd. To be fair, I think the last time he umpired a game for us he was actually quite good.

If the game gets tight in the last, watch him pull a match costing dodgy decision against us out of his crapper....

With a potential Collingwood/Carlton GF cash cow at stake, do you think Ray would want to annoy the fat controller?

Agree with Mil, can't believe the extent we are underdogs with the tipsters. FFS, it was 37-3 in Hun and ours included Carltonian Sam Edmund and Kiss of Death!

Last time I checked the odds were WC $1.43, us $2.65. This does not reflect a 37-3 tipping outcome.

The only top 4 side WCE have beaten @ Subi is the Cats by a few kicks and they did lose to Swans there earlier in the year. What quality have they played @ Subi otherwise??? We all know how depleted we were when we played them in Rd 16, too.

The Pies came off a 96 point flogging without Dale Thomas and with a fragile underprepared backline to get over them last week. 2 weeks before the Pies had to struggle to beat the Lions by 18 pts @ the G. Pies are just going IMHO.

With the run and balance in our team we are in this up to our earholes, really have faith in Laids, Hendo and Jamo to handle their talls, its the Le Cras match up that has me worried the most, could even determine the outcome.

We love Subi and its open spaces and coupled with WA support, what is there to fear about being "away"???

Blues by 8 pts.

Blues speed versus Eagles height.

Bring our "A game" on the open spaces, we will put them away.......

Mil, i dont think they have been that unkind. we are yet to beat a team above us.

if they don't give us a wrap after this weekends win......well sting them then!

they will be singing our praises early sunday morning i bet.

I didn't say that they have been unkind to us, just that they haven't given us one fraction of a chance, which is rediculous!!

I mean it's like they're previewing a Gold Coast vs Collingwood game at the G. There's no analysis, there's no clear reasoning for their selection, or outright facts, it's just: "The Eagles will be too strong at home" or "Did you know the Eagles have some good talls?".

Pathetic!!

I don't mind them dismissing us.
If we win, then we can say.....
We Stuck It Right Up 'Em.!

I'll be honest. I couldn't care less how many people tip us. It's an irrelevance that has no bearing on the outcome.

We are a better team than the last time we played them.
They are more or less the same, potentially minus Cox this time.

Last time pre-game everyone on TC was super-confident.
Now all of a sudden WC are Goliaths?

We are easily capable of winning.
Question is, do the players have their minds on the job, or did they play their Grand Final last week?

That is my main concern.

I hope the umpires were spoken to about their illegal blocking from last time we faced them.

Players were being buffeted well outside the 5m allowed, and free kicks for shepherding should have been paid on numerous occassions.

Do you honestly think anything will change this game???
Geischen's orders are to keep the game flowing, not stop any cheating.

The only instruction they will get is: ping Judd for throws as much as possible.
And: don't award any holding the ball decisions in front of goal, no matter how blatant.

He's more likely to pull out a big call against a hometown hero than against Carlton IMO, he just loved paying 50's against Fev.

I reckon Vozzo and McBurney are worse than Razor.

Razor loves the spotlight, those two just hate Carlton.
