Is that a D&D joke? You've just gone so far down the nerd scale I don't even know what you're referencing.

Forshame!

Just a question for anyone that knows...

On my ticket for the game it says "Public Transport Included". Can someone clarify what this actually means in relation to the match?

No need to pay for Train or Bus ticket getting to and from the ground. If you are on the train, get off at West Leederville, not Subiaco if coming from City.

I get into Perth at 3:15pm local time, so I suppose I'll be heading to the ground from the airport (wouldn't have thought that there was enough time to head into the city or anything?). Is there a train or bus from the airport to the ground?

Thanks for the help!

There is a bus, but it takes ages. Get a Taxi if you are getting here that late. Taxi takes about 20 mins to the City and about 5-10 mins more to Subi. Traffic will be mental.

Well I have no checked baggage (just carry on bag - am basically just coming for the match and leaving on the red-eye) so shouldn't have to wait around too long once getting to Perth. Will obviously do my best to find a cab ASAP - I should have enough time, shouldn't I?

Get a cab to Ashfield Station - should take no more than 15 minutes. Then take the train into the city and then out to West Leederville. As long as you make it to Ashfield by 4.50 you will make it to the ground by 5.30, save money, beat traffic & be sure to find some other followers of the true faith to share the journey with (and Dockers supporters wishing you luck!)

Sounds like a plan. Just from looking it up - train from Ashfield to Perth Station on the Midland line, then at Perth Station, switch to the Fremantle line and get off at West Leederville and walk to the ground from there?

Thanks for all of your help guys!

You know those movies where a group of know it all's argue over the quickest and best way to get from point A to point B.?

My two cents worth. If you get off the plane right on time, no problem BUT if I was you.............

It's saturday arvo and the Eagles are on telly for a final, so the traffic WON'T be a problem around the metro area. Getting to the ground wont be too bad if you just get the cab driver to drop you off a couple of streets away. The quickest way a cabbie should take you from the airport is Grt East HWY, Farmer Freeway (tunnel) and get off at Southport street exit Leederville and get dropped off at JB OR'reilly's Pub Cambridge Street, West Leederville . Ít's 10 minute walk max from there, just follow the plebs to the game.

If you don't want a drink, get dropped off at the West Leederville train station on Railway parade and walk 3 minutes to the game.

Total cab time 30 min, Cab fare $30.00 but no anxious waits at train stations hoping you've read the timetable correctly.
