M1, Row JJ - is that any good?

Never sat behind goals before and it sounds a bit far back for premium? - not sure if I should cancel and try rebooking another seat

Nevermind - ended up playing around on the site for a fair bit and ended up going for the opposite goals - M32, Row JJ

Not too happy about being on ground level but based on captain dan's post - I'm next to the blues cheersquad at least! Hopefully the view isn't too bad.

good call M1 was the Essendon* end! couldnt think of anything worse.

Just wondering if anyone has received a letter about registering for Grand Final tickets yet. Collingwood members received letters last week and had to register on Wednesday 14th for a ticket or to go into a ballot for tickets. All 4 teams that compete in the Prelim Finals have to register and pay a $5 fee by next week. If we win on the weekend all members who want a chance to go the GF must register by next week, i havent received anything as yet.

Detailed below is information taken from the letter that was sent out.

There are 2 categories in terms of accessing GF tickets.

Priority 1 Members:
Captains Club Silver, Captains Club Standard Gold, Captains Club Premium Gold & Club 17 Members.
These members are offered guaranteed access to a GF ticket if Carlton are in it. If we win on Saturday night these members must register in the ballot on Wednesday, 21st September between 8.00am - 2.00pm EST.

Priority 2 Members:
Football Standard Gold and Football Premium Gold Members.
If we win on Saturday night these members must register in the ballot on Wednesday, 21st September between 3.00pm - 9.00pm EST.

Note that the registration times are strictly enforced. If you are a Priority Group 1 member and you do not register in the designated time frame or instead elect to register within the Priority Group 2 time frame, you will waive your priority access to a ticket.

All remaining members, should any tickets remain once the above membership categories have registered in the GF ballot, then Football Silver Members or any Priority 1 or Priority 2 members who have not already been allocated a GF ticket will have the opportunity to purchase any remaiing tickets.

(Note: MCC Upgrade or Etihad Stadium only members do not qualify to access the Carlton members GT ticket allocation).

yep if u can afford the extra $$ captains carlton is the way to go,. u dont have to particulary worry about a reserved seat for most games, home games we have about 4 bays bottom level that is a general area for captains club. for the few fully ticketed games u just need to pay a few $$ and get a reserved seat.

Me too - my cousin and I took over the reins from Gran (we decided 78 was too old to camp outside the arts centre)
We'd just nodded off around 3am and the sprinklers in the garden bed we were next to went off

Best part was waving tutty bye to all the Essendon* supporters vacating the spots they'd been holding since round 22

hehehe....wee cheated and got someone to go into the queue during the night and we took over in the morning....then it took 6 hours for the queue to move because they allowed everyone to choose where there seats were going to be.
