Why would keeping Yaz be interesting? In saying that hope we are looking t an extension now for both he and Gibbs.

Because every single one eyed Eagle fan over here is adamant they have heard from reliable sources that he wants to come home.
Of course, I tell them to pull their heads out of their butts because it will never happen.
The "interesting" bit is probably for me only, to see if there is any substance(unlikely) to these preposterous claims.
By the looks of it there is none whatsoever.

But he going home.....just that he's coming back on Sunday .

We get a player plus a pick or picks, which could be something Freo gets from GWS so we may well end up with a good player and a first and second rounder. We make sure he goes to Freo and not WCE unless we get Kennedy back or their best and youngest midfielder from next season's results.

GWS have the right to sign uncontracted players next season, so may angle for Yarran then if we don't sign him. That way, they don't use a draft pick, and we score some.

But any talk of him wanting to leave is surely complete BS, BS. :P

Which is exactly what I tell my frontrunning eagle supporting mates.

Another thing, just watching the Mangrook(?) footy show and they threw a few players out there from the saints that they may be looking to offload.
Sam Gilbert was mentioned.

Would there be space for him in our best 22 as the list stands today?

Its a no for me.

I can't think of a player i'd less like to see in a Carlton jumper next year. I really do not rate this guy in the slightest.

I'll settle for speculation if you will...

Yarran isn't going home after next season.

Just read your signature.
Does anybody know if she's turned up for pre-season training yet?

Ok, if you want to start stressing over it go for your life.

The case for him moving home is mere speculation from a few Eagles fans. Pretty weak argument.

Stuart Dew is in the mix for the Adelaide senior coaching job.

If they don't pick him does that make them anti-Semitic?

No they'd be "Fatists" which is obviously similar

I have it from a very, very good source from inside the club:

1) Jordan Russell isn't playing because the club found out he took an interview with GWS.
2) Paul Bower's manager is talking with both WCE and Fremantle about a return to WA next season. His contract expires this year and will not be a Blue next season. I just hope we dont get another Andrew Collins.
3) Jarred Waite most likely wont play again this year. He is struggling to move laterally post the operation.

This is as good as gold. I just hope Bower can be convinced to stay. Not sure what they will do with Russell.

So was i right?

Pagan had some good sayings back in the day and one of them was - 'if you're any good people will tell you, you don't have to tell them'

BTW, Collins CAN play

Josh Kennedy is far more valuable than Paul Bower......

A straight swap will not happen...

#1 was wrong, #2 is proving to be partially right at this stage and #3 looks right
