I hope so. Surely he can play with painkillers if it's just a Grade 1 AC.

I've been told he won't be playing :banghead: :banghead:

What shits me is that it happened in the dying minutes of a game that was well and truly over

The locals are extremely confident.

Beau Waters on telly tonight saying that Essendon* [REDACTED] up by giving the midfield to much space and that ANY of the WCE defenders can do the job on any of our small forwards.

It's only noteworthy in as much that it's far more bold a statement than is typical from the WCE.

Time to shine Jeffy, Walks and Bettsie!

'yesterday he wasn't playing, but he woke up feeling really well today & is now a 50-50!'

Word out of Perth is that they want this game bad.
Looking @ Juddy to receive some medicine by the end while Kennedy enjoys the spoil and plenty of goals! They are determined to make a statement with the pharmacist leading the charge behind the scenes. They are really bitter and out to prove a point.
Interesting to see how our boys handle this but I'll be honest, I have a a bad feeling - going on past performances - when the opposition get "aggressive" towards the man, we go missing. I have a bad feeling.

I beg to differ, my mail today from a director is they are pumped & really confident! They love the space Subi has to offer & our backs can cover their forwards!

Look to have Hammer back to help 206 & I'm loving the spills Irish is creating, not to mention the last outing T Bird had at Subi!

I can't wait & I'm very confident!

Blues by 22points!

OMG.......just imagine the Razor in front of the baying WC ferals :yikes:

It was a real pleasure to have decent umpires on the weekend, and at times they were even a bit "too decent".

Hope your right figer. I just don't have a good feeling and hardly ever feel so flat about games. The talk about them being very physical, which they can be has me even more worried because we just don't stand up and deliver when the physical pressure against the man gets applied. Sides that beat us are the sides that do this to us continuously - read Hawthorn.

It's a semi-final - the stakes are the same for both teams. There's no reason why they should want it any more badly than us. I'd like to think that if we do lose, it won't be because they simply wanted it more than us. Remember, also, that they beat us over here, which is something for which we will want to atone. So I'd be disappointed if motivation was an issue...

understand the feeling SB....however, i have a 'sneaky' little suspicion we are going to surprise and ruin the Perth party

.....now is the time for us to stand up........provided we give it everything we have and dont 'shirk' there is no down side.

if we are fair dinkum about our list, we have a little ways to go for balance.....therefore in 2011, i reckon we'll go down finishing in the top 4

Well then its time to stand up  We are a very different team personnel wise to the one that WCE beat last time as has been pointed out by many, and Juddy was affected by the flu from memory ? Will be interesting to see how they handle the home town pressure - hit them on the scoreboard early to take the crowd out of the game would be nice.

Nothing; Woosha's just dropped a hint of PCP in the water supply.

It's about respect really. For both teams.

It doesn't matter what we've achieved this season, or how thoroughly we take apart teams below us, no one will take us seriously till we beat a top 4 side in a final.

Same for WC. If they lose, then they went out in straights sets. Their season will be reassessed as being lucky and heavily influence by a soft draw. The Etihad win against us will be appear the aberration. People will start pointing out that other that they lost to

Collingwood (x2)
Hawthorn - 3rd
St Kilda - 6th
Sydney - 7th
Essendon* - 8th
And basically beat the Cats, North, Freo and Brisbane by a kick in games that could have gone either way.

There is a lot to play for, but I reckon we'll win and win well. We've got too many blokes who've been beaten up on for too long, who don't want to take it anymore. (refer big games from Walker, Thornton and Simpson on Sunday).

This will be a tough game, particulalry the first half.

Don't expect them to fall away after half time and we need some of our less physical guys to be prepared for some very hard contested footy.

I reckon no more than 4 or 5 of the Bombers side would get a game with the WCE.
