Duke the point of most of this thread stems from the suggestion (offered as fact by some) that JR is off to GWS at the end of 2011. Obviously that can only happen if CFC agrees to it. To put it bluntly...'CFC is in the box seat' if A) JR wanted to go and B) if GWS wanted him. 2012 is a totally different ball game as you have pointed out. But so it is for many other players in the AFL who will be out of contract come the end of 2012 i.e Goddard apparently.

So whenever anyone reads the BS about JR wanting to leave Carlton they should just shrug their shoulders and repeat the mantra 'Box Seat' :wink:

Gibbs is fine, he's been traded to GWS for picks 1 and 9, that's why they're saying he's injured so they can get away with not playing him this weekend.

Apparently Goddard was a Carlton supporter as a kid. Did anyone here know that. I've heard he's coming to Carlton in 2012, too.
