The crowd singing OUR theme song in the LAST Qtr.

A very moving rendition indeed!!

The cheer that followed the song was awesome, whilst the singing was going on there was alot of waving to the Dons exiting early.

On the way out some of the scum tried yelling back but to no avail as the waving them on with a smile said it all, p$ss off you tools

It's not his job.

Quit your whining, it was a terrific win.

Bad kicking is bad football, but surely the work of Andrew Walker and Eddie Betts up forward this year with their goal kicking suggests some great work is being done....

in Rattens presser after the game he said Waite would play next week - which is slightly contrasting to the image my mum sent me from Donnini's last night of Jarrad Waite leaving the restaurant in obvious walking discomfort at about 10pm last night, the night before he was supposedly listed to play his return game in the reserves! Only to be then informed by Michael (the owner of Donnini's) that Waite wont play again this year as a result of an osteitis pubis flare up, no mention of the hip injury that has kept him out for the last 9 games, when originally we were told it would be 4-6 weeks out max. And to a lesser extent Kruezer, who after his 'dead foot' incident last saturday, we were then told on monday that the cyst causing the numbness had been drained during a simple procedure, and that he was fine to go for the weekend.

.

Don’t they do the hip operation to fix the OP ?. Players are usually out of action for a few months in the preseason when they have it.
Looks like they hoped they could rush Waite through but it didn’t come off. Henda took a while to get over it and so did Russ who had both hips done.

Don't sue me if those details aren't accurate to the letter...
and I suppose there is a tiny chance I dreamt that..but...
i think that is what the bet between him and Andy Maher was.

I'm sure they'll post it on their website at some stage too.

Any confirmation on this? And an address for SEN?

Andy Maher tweeted it

7.55. Monday morning. @MorningGlorySEN @timwatson32 will be wearing a Carlton jumper singing We Are The Navy Blues at a Swan St tramstop.

Aren't SEN on Swan St near Burnley St?

I heard Watson this morning, he wore one of SOS's jumpers that Andy gave him. A few Carlton supporters were to sing the Da Da Da Da Da part. He only got one part wrong when he sang "we are dark old navy Blues".

To the Essendon* flog in Q18 Row A, I hope you're reading this.
You give the 0.1% of Essendon* fans with a brain, a bad name.

The whole game he was whinging about umpireing and lauding his Essendon* "champions".
In the 3rd, he started putting on a spastic voice (which wasn't much of a stretch) saying "I'm Heath Scotland, I'm the worse player in the AFL, I can't believe I still get a game" and "I'm Henderson, I'm All Australian full back"

I asked him, "Why are you still here deckhead, you're team is being smashed"
He said "I'm supporting my team, even if they lose, more than you'd do"
I went to get some beers 3 min before the 3QT siren and when I returned, he and his retarded mates had gone. My mate heard them say, "You go now, I'm wait 30sec" so it wouldn't look like it was an exodus.

So I never got to say goodbye you brainless, worthless coward.

Bye

Pros:

Robbo just about BOG in my mind. Shut down Fletcher and you beat Essendon*. He really had Fletcher distracted and preoccupied. And his efforts to win the ball and apply defensive pressure really set a standard.
Murphy was brilliant.
Warnock feasted upon Essendon* again. He must really like playing against these guys.
Great to see Garlett get over his recent goalkicking yips.
Great job by the MC. Looked like Judd almost played as a decoy. Took one of their few ballwinners away from the contest, and gave room for our midfield depth to do its work. Great job to 'save up' the Robbo to Fletcher move in recent meetings for when it really counts.
Best midfield game I've seen from Gibbs. Hope he's right to play next week.
Carrazzo's job on Watson.
Great defensive effort as well. Duigan, Hendo, Laidler and Yarran were all great. And gee, having Jamo back makes a huge, huge difference. Just a class defender.

Cons:

Poor kicking for goal early.
Will Lloydy tell us that Pears' injury really cost them again? :donk:

Although he may/may not get rubbed out I put Laidler's bump as a PRO - we are too ofetn the victims of this sort of thing and we have this soft reputation. We need opposition players being a bit nervous about going hard for the ball and I reckon Laidler put a few wee dribbles in a few undies with those bumps of his.

Sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war and at least we fired a few shots yesterday.

Good point. I was pretty frustrated early after our runs of behinds, and thought he wasn't getting to the contest or applying defensive pressure. But his last 3 quarters were fantastic.

In Ratt's presser he baulked at suggestions that we should be happy that we won without Juddy having a blinder. I think the unspoken word from him was that he was quite happy for them to focus on Judd and leave the other guys running around unattended.
