Now can we have some peace and solidarity behind the players, Coach and club please for the remainder of 2011 and beyond?

Regards Cazzesman

Cazzeman it was the club that said he had to win a final to get a pass mark in the last year of his contract.
The club has achieved this. Now Ratts can pay his house off.

Did you enjoy that win Keogh?

Just curious.

Absolutely. I hate Essendon*. Might as well of had Knights in the box.
I didnt go to the game so I flick over from 7 to 2. It gave me more joy to see the Bullants get up. Hope Dare's mark late in the third gets posted on here. Courage.

I am a man who believes to keep things in perspective. We beat the 8th best team. The finals have too many teams. Essendon* on their bad days can be beaten by anyone. They were horrible.

If we win next week. Well thats one to well and truly celebrate.

Hammer must play.Kicked six.Hopefully that will do that.

Live Tidily Winks would be more up keogh's ally than being proven wrong by Cazzesman and Gibbs.

Well, if we were the Libs we would still be out of the eight, tanking for draft picks

If we were the Greens we'd be moving Carlton to the Ammos comp

Congrats Brett Ratten ... an excellent performance this year.

Thankfully ... no Malthouse ... what a relief.

After ten years without a finals win, I think I'll celebrate this one. Especially as a loss would have been unbearable, for many reasons. Our mids will smash theirs next week, but its their tall fwds we have to worry about. I hope Kerr doesn't get up.

This leaves me speechless.
Not sure if you actually support Carlton now.
Will you watch next week or is something else on tv that you'd prefer to watch?

Question mark no longer required on the title of this thread. Emphatic win ag red and black rabble. How could we have imagined we could have lost? 2 years for Ratts now, all discussion over. Lets hope we give a really good account of ourselves next week. We should if we can get one of Hammo or Big K fit and Cox is unavailable.

They are our seconds team
It was an inspirational win and the carlton listed players were superb.
The senior game was over halfway through the second quarter.
I love seeing the scum suffer but the last quarter was garbage time.

The build up for this game was huge.
i thought about it differently. Essendon* were the 8th best side this year.
They were terrible today.
Buy our own doing we were diabolical for about 6 years. We only lost 2 finals between the loss in 2001 to the Tigers and now.

The ramifications if we lost would have been huge. more of a relief than anything.

yeah i know it was Essendon* in front of 90000.
But Essendon* were shit today. They played bruise free footy
It was a test for our players to come to play.
after the 15 minute mark of the second quarter it was a walk in the park
might as well have got the witches hats out

boys
we played a very ordinary side today who have a plethora of soft footballers

We play a bigger tougher better side next week who comprehensively beats us here last time
I will be far more excited if we win next week

As for watching the bullants when the seniors are up by 10 goals

wHY NOT. oNE OF THE BEST GAMES OF FOOTY I HAVE SEEN.
wE HAVE A BRIGT FUTURE WITH HAMPSON, tUOHY,DARE, CACHIA, Watson , Kerr

I thought that would prove how much i want the blueboys to win.

And every time you posted you and your mates had to remind everyone and tell us all how Ratts wasn't the man for the job. So now you can suck it up and get prepared for many more seasons of Ratts. That will be a fact and something you will just have to get use to, as will many of your co posters.

Regards Cazzesman

Top coaching by the blues today. Plans for this game have been in place for a month and our fitness designed to peak today.

Looking forward to next week and watching the team keep improving under Ratts.

Interesting perspective......

Quote:
And Ratten's fingerprints were all over it, from his faith in his mosquito fleet of Eddie Betts and Jeff Garlett to his positional changes for Chris Yarran, Andrew Walker and Lachie Henderson.

Henderson shut out Michael Hurley, Mitch Robinson thrashed Dustin Fletcher as a defensive forward, and maligned talls in Robbie Warnock and Bret Thornton were exceptional.
