The Davies part of the conversation faded a few pages ago but my slightly out there thought was he would be sub and Tuohy, who they really rate into the future, they want to give a full Ants game to...
But Tuohy way better than Davies last week (although Davies starting to look like a footballer) and would be much higher impact as a sub. As one wise poster suggested, Davies may play defensive forward on Fletcher.
If Jamo plays, side looks good enough to win with a bit better balance that last week.
PLEASE KICK GOALS!

Just need to keep the game under control until half time then finish the job in the 3rd. Last 1/4 will be just going though the montions.

I've got an updated copy of this:

For all you critics, yes you're entitled to an opinion, but have a look at what you've written and ask yourself if its worth making a clown of yourself over.

I hope the mc is right today but nobody has made a clown of themselves at all.In fact having reading some of these posts this morning for the first time, there is a strong argument that the MC has [REDACTED] up.
Obviously Ratts and co want defensive pressure.
Tuohy's ommission is staggering Brad
And I reckon Lucas might just be a gun in the making who likes the big stage.

With tough man Warnock as are only big man and Essendon* capable of playing great footy(Geelong game) I find it amazing some of our supporters think we are over the line.

Our President talking about the glory days doesnt enthuse me either.

Now Laidley is going on about our defense.
http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/b ... 1k368.html

The highest score against us was 103 pts against the Eagles.

Collingwood and Geelong only managed 102 pts.

Hawthorn 78 pts.

For the last time, our defense isn't why we lose a game, it's our forward line.

Everyone expects us to win but they are all making excuses just in case we don't so they can turn around and say "I told you so".

@#$%&! 'em. @#$%&! 'em all.

That rain will play havoc with the marking of our tall forwards.

Oh.

gunna be a fine but windy day by the looks of the radar

I think the bombers will use the flood/rebound tactic on us so we should be ready for it and drop a few extras back in defence and run the ball forward ourselves

There is no doubt going into the finals with key big men missing or underdone hurts us:

Kreuzer, Jamo, Waite, Hampson, Ohailpin

However, looking out the window this morning and seeing the rain piss down shows me the heavens are looking down on us.

Ohailpin played well last week, Warnock just needs to toughen the *&^% up.

Jamo is a question mark, but ultimately the playing conditions give our midfield / small brigade a great opportunity.

Next week if we get there, then Subi would be an ideal location to have the above guys fit and firing.

Hearing Laidley speak it always makes me wonder how much work goes into tidying up his articles. Surely there can't be that big a gap between what goes on paper and what comes out of his mouth?

Need Thornton to take some grabs today and kick a few goals. If he can play at the standard he showed against Fremantle a few weeks ago then we will go along way to winning this game.
