Anyone know what time training is today? Might give an indication of any late changes....

It was at 9:30 this morning.

Would appreciate a report if anyone got there. Cheers

There seem to be rumblings that Hurley may be a late out for them.

Somehow, I can actually picture this happening.

All 22 players, including some non-bullants participants were on the oval at one time or another. Hendo did not participate in the full training. He was doing handballs with Jamo and McInness and then went in. He had no strapping and did not look in any discomfort, maybe that is normal for him a day before a game.

Jamo participated later with the main group when they were, finally, practicing shots on goals

I have no insight but if they played him against Port, he'll play in the EF imho.

I know they rested him here and there late in the year but unless his sore spot has worsened, he'll play I reckon.

Emma Quayle has written a piece on the re-born Patrick Ryder for the Sunday Age.

Right.

Ryder's only kicked two more goals than Henderson managed last year.

Lets hope the jinx continues.

Paul Bowers mother was at training today over from Perth, she was interviewed briefly waiting for PB to do a Q & A for a sponsors promotion.

Can confirm Hendo did some stationary handball then went in and Jamo did very little.

Doubt Mrs Bower would be over to watch PB play in the Bullants....

Bullants trained after the seniors which included Shaun Hampson but NO WAITE

Jamo "proppy" at training.......

Out Jamo
In Bower

Seems pretty likely. AS a lot of posters have said you don't usually do well taking underdone or injured players into finals.

You guys gotta chill.

Team will be unchanged.
Bower is playing Bullants.
Tuohy is the emergency they're taking to the ground, will stay till bounce then play second half with Bullants.

But, you can still keep sweating on the media reports if u like.

Can Bower replace Jamison beforehand and we still take Tuohy as the emergency?

If I was an Essendon* fan, I would be very upset if the club played him with a serious hotspot in his foot. Sure, gives them a better chance tomorrow, but Essendon* have no chance of winning the flag no matter what happens tomorrow. He is the most important player at their club and I would not be risking serious injury for tomorrow's game.

This might be a silly idea, but if Jamo isn't quite right but not too bad, could we play Bower in the ones and Jamo in the twos, so that Jamo is still in the frame for the rest of the finals, but we at least won't be playing less than fit players in a final?

You beat me to the punch. :P

If it was a day or so later this would be a good move, but they're playing almost simultaneously so it's not.

I don't think I've ever seen incorrect mail from Snickers.

was thinking the same spornstar. imagine the foot breaks on him and he ends up like a trent croad or an egan or whitehead even? would be a disaster of epic proportions should they lose their best young player long term all in the name of winning an elimination final v the arch rival.

ffs if youre reading this Essendon* .... please rest him!!!

Everyone keeps harping on about Davies... He hasn't done much wrong or much good, BUT I would be amazed if he wasn't our sub tomorrow.

If he is sub then we'll only see him for about a quarter (hopefully no injuries) and i think he has more versatility than the others to come into any position that is required of him. Therefore I think he is a good selection. We have enough class on the ground to excuse the others as well...

However, if he's not the sub.... ???
