Next time buying tickets for finals, I will remember three things.
1. Not to bother going to a Ticketek/ticketmaster outlet to buy them
2. Use the internet
3. Remember that the AFL and ticketek still haven't got it right, and you should be right to book on the Wednesday or Thursday.

The problem would be that the AFL wouldn't know exactly how many tickets they can release to the public on monday as they would have to still meet demand from sponsors and other groups that are affiliated with them. Once they know exactly how many seats they need to allocate for these groups they will release any tickets that are not required and therefore allowing more of the public to enter the ground. This is a better option than letting the tickets go to waste.

Im sure we all wish it to be as simple as..... there are exactly 30500 tickets for the public so release them all and first in best dressed but Im sure it's not that easy.

Frustrating but just the way the world is!

Just tested it out and got N51 in the Olympic Stand.

Didn't buy them. I'll be drunk Sunday and not know where I am anyway.

Only 1000 public seats left now. It will be a sell out by lunchtime tomorrow.

M1, Row JJ - is that any good?

Never sat behind goals before and it sounds a bit far back for premium? - not sure if I should cancel and try rebooking another seat

Nevermind - ended up playing around on the site for a fair bit and ended up going for the opposite goals - M32, Row JJ

Not too happy about being on ground level but based on captain dan's post - I'm next to the blues cheersquad at least! Hopefully the view isn't too bad.

Nothing wrong with ground level mate. At least the players don't look like ants as they do up in level Q (although I know people who prefer it up there).

I much prefer a wing or flank position to goal ends but hey, you'll be there cheering a victory over the scum, so at least you can be happy about that!

I don't mind the bottom evel either especially when the play is nice and close by but hate it when the play is down the other end and can't see squat! Have to watch the screen and I might as well have stayed at home.

I am one of THOSE that prefer Q especially on the wing closer to the front.

Row JJ is just under cover too I'm pretty sure, so if it rains you'll be protected.

Yeah, each to their own. I actually prefer top level these days (bearing in mind levels 2 & 3 are difficult to obtain), but only if I can get in the front few rows. I find it much better watching the play unfold from up there.
