Agree. The culture of TC which is basically bullying and endless snide remarks is very sad. It's fine to disagree, but don't be immature about it.
If you can't handle being called names by an anonymous person who doesn't know you, maybe you are too sensitive. Besides, I think the mods do a pretty fair job of keeping it from getting out of hand. At some stage in your TC life, someone is going to call you a (insert insult). If you write sensible opinionated stuff, it will happen less often. Some posters just post rubbish, rumours without foundation and otherwise stuff that warrants nothing more than a good laugh. Others claim to have inside information when they don't. Others who are actually involved with the club keep their cards close to their chests because that's why they are close to the club. They can keep a secret or release information that you will read in the press. Read what you like. Post what you like. I love TC because I can express my wide, varied and expert views on everything and know that people I respect for their own opinions will read my stuff and occasionally comment on it and the rest of them can please themselves. Similarly I read posts from people who think before they post and occasionally I make a considered comment and more occasionally I say it is rubbish. I've lashed Hotcox, Donstuie, Seanb and heaps of others but they have the good sense not to take it too seriously because I have also read some good stuff they have written and commented on it.
THAT'S what I reckon TC is about. Just enjoy it for what you get out of it and put into it, let the mods do their job.
BTW, everybody here knows Andrew Walker is playing forward because I suggested it on TC two seasons ago, comparing him to DRJ who went forward and kicked a bag against Hawthorn years ago. Not even Hotcox has claimed that one.
