I dont think Betts will scrape in. Only 12 disposals, 3 marks, 2 goals averaged per game. Decent, but not in the best 24.

Surely Walks is very stiff not to even get in the squad, I find that baffaling.

Good luck to the others named in the squad confident that Scotland, Judd and Murphy will be selected. Betts is pretty luck to be in the squad but good on him.

Given that they like to give over the half-forward spots to extra mids, he's unlikely. Betts will very likely miss out to Murphy and Thomas.

Murphy, Judd and Scotland should be certainties. Surprised Betts got a nomination ahead of Walker.

correct me if I'm wrong (and im doing this quick so no calc at hand) but can someone tell me exactly how many players in total played at least one senior AFL game this year for all clubs in total, and then tell me what 40 out of the 500 (rough guess) is as a perecntage. in other words if you make the squad of 40 would that put you in about the top 8-10%, or somewhere around that (40 is almost a one whole teams list) so im thinking around 1/17th of the players make the squad of 40. bit random I know but some of u statsheads will know surely
