I'm genuinely shocked. Denis was a very accomplished , polished footballer. Unlucky not to be a Carlton premiership player. R.I.P Denis.

Very sad, sounds like a great bloke who did great things for his community.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I have memories of him holding the opponents jumper with one hand, and raising the other hand in the air appealing for holding the ball - the old 'hailing the cab' job :smile:
