I was just asking.

Iacobucci is 25 now and played with Collingwood before they delisted him.
He is a tough nut but a tad slow for the next step IMO. You are right though; he is an excellent VFL player and leader!
like Brock

True. We did waste that pick as I see it. Lucky thing was that we wanted Kane Lucas and got him through the Fevola trade and Melbourne picked up Gysberts with that pick. Gysberts is another ball butcher though I wonder whom we may have picked up if we had both choices?

No Hampson at senior level either.

Jamo a definite starter, Setanta in the mix.

Terrible news. However, the 'put a fork in him he is done' is your take on it, not a summary of what Ratts said. Just to be clear.

The guys missed 8 weeks going into a finals campaign.. Only a very slim chance of seeing him again at senior level this year..

FFS! Hampson rolled his ankle and will be playing for the Ants this week.

And people are making his return to footy somewhat of a fairytale?

Totally agree - just saying that Ratts never said that himself.

Send him to surgery now.

Looks like, barring injury, the team that takes the field this weekend is the one who takes the field in the first week of the finals.

I've been told Thornton is out. Wasnt told what he'd injured though.
Setanta is in.

Also told there is good chance of another out for JR to come in. But couldn't confirm.

TBird didn't train on Saturday so maybe he is injured. Maybe the eye is giving him grief?

So I guess the rumor is true, it's just that T-Bird didn't see it coming.

Unless the Bullants can win the final, that would give Waite a chance to have a match before entering straight into finals.

I saw him in the TAB yesterday. His eye looked fine. Might be something else.

If Hampson does well this weekend playing ruck then he might come into the first final, Waite won't play in the finals unless Ants win this week AND he can play next week AND he plays well enough.
