The Norf/Aints game next week will be VERY interesting. A Norf win would mean a desperate Aints throwing everything at us. An Aints win could take a lot of sting out of it.

Hoping its a do or die game for them when they play us, and we belt the absolute crap out of these perenial losers and knock them out of the Top 8 in the process...

If the Saints game was at Etihad id be very worried, given that its at the G, and we will be freshened up. We will smash them

Good news is we knock over the Saints, get a soft first final. Geelong and Hawks smash each other to bits in first Q final (the HAwks win, but several reports and sore boys), WCE humiliated in other Q final, a fit and confident Carlton then get to play last years wooden spooners (same as if we could choose GC or Port to beat for a spot in a prelim) and of course we win and then decide to start at the start of the first q ag the Hawks (rather than half time) beat them easily and play the winner of the spiteful and brutal prelim between Cats and Woods. The only question is, can we beat the Woods in the GF?

Haven't lost one against them since 1910.

I'd say that's not the only question we'd need to ask regarding that scenario

Not sure whether beating the Saints would suit our cause ... sorry ... don't shoot me down.

Don't particularly want to play the Saints again ... 1st week of the finals.

If we play and beat Essendon* in the Elimination ... I reckon it all opens up for us.

I believe we would beat WC in Perth (I think WC have over performed ... last met us in the middle of a slump).

Then we would play either Geelong or Hawthorn. I like our chances against these 2 on the G.

Then Collingwood in the GF.

Am I dreaming or does this seem possible. Think I will put some money on it...

In: Hampson, Russell, Curnow, o'hAilpin, Lucas
Out: Warnock, Davies, Ellard, Thornton, Armfield/Carrazzo

I reckon out of those five changes mooted, we'll go with 2, at most three of them. No way we make 4-5 unforced changes on the eve of the finals.

I've ordered them from what I feel is most probable down.

No way we will make that many changes a week before the finals, next weeks Bullants game will be very interesting.
My changes at this stage are;
In Russell, Curnow, O'Hailpin
Out Davies, Ellard, Armfield

I think we would have made 4 of those changes this week if we'd had a game on. Five changes isn't out of the question, and to me it seems like a more finals-built squad with the changes.

So would you take the rehearsal opportunity, or be stubborn in the face of the glaringly obvious need for changes?

Carrazzo won't be dropped. I don't think Warnock will be either.

In my opinion Warnock must be dropped, he is just too weak. At least compete and make a contest
Hampson for him is a must Vs STKilda

I enjoyed seeing the Hammer improve before injury and we're in the finals anyway so we may as well see Hampson stake a claim in R24.

Richmond must feel like they are in the box seat.

Thank you captain obvious :donk:

I think we are all hoping for a Roos win so we get the opportunity to extinguish a side that has taken great delight in belting Carlton in recent years.

As always, on the money again Hotcox.

I'm hoping we face North week one because to say we owe them is an understatement. Would love to belt them week one of finals.
