From the man who makes an exception to this rule for Franklin because he has a natural arc in his run up.

Honestly Gieshen is a flowering incompetent wanker who would not know if a the number 19 tram to Coburg was driving right up his anus with 2 bells clanking.

Of course.

But Buddy can run off the line anytime he !@#$%& well likes

Correct, Gieschen says it's his natural arc.

What he fails to recognize because he's a deadset dufus is that there is not one footballer out there that doesn't use that step as the natural arc for kicking at goal from that position.

He's a walking contradiction

The question before Giesh took over was; Could the umpiring go anymore backwards? The answer now is a definite YES.

If Buddy was taking the shot that Gibbs had on Saturday I wonder what would have happened to his natural arc? His natural arc would have mean't that he would have kicked the ball from the front row seats of the ground. It is a natural arc when it suits him.

From what Chester Anderson said on the subject there is NO room in the rule for a "natural arc" - Gieschen is seriously flowered with "his natural arc interpretation" of this rule.

As I have said previously Chester Anderson only allows Gieschen in the job because it makes him look good.

I think someone from Carlton should ask for an official interpretation in writing, including the exceptions that are made for natural arc and on what basis those exceptions are made. Because it sounds like it is all coming from Jeff Geischen's quite sizeable posterior.

We are lead to believe that Buddy will explode if he is forced to run in a straight line when kicking for goal. The "natural arc" gives him an unfair advantage because of the extra distance one can kick after running outside of the line. The fact that he has done that forever only means he has been cheating or playing on the whole time. He can still be forced to do what 99.9% of footballers have to do. If that affects his accuracy, stiff shit. Rules aren't created to allow Buddy to win the Coleman.

Need a big "play on" call from the masses as Buddy runs in. Similar to that 'no ball' call for the Sri lankan chucker in the cricket.

If Gibbs kick was play on then so are 90% of set shots at goal.

The thing that gets me is that Gibbs asked the ump if he can take a step and the ump goes yeah no worries.

The players don't know, the umpires don't know and the supporters don't know.

I think the players and the umpires know and they called it fairly, as did all the commentators and several players on Sunday footy panels who were asked whether it was play on - all said "NO".

The problem is Gieschen is a @#$%&! idiot and one of the reasons the umpiring is such a disgrace nowadays and is at opposite polar ends to the rest of the human world. I mean look at this rubbish...

- The decision to play on is now in the hands of the players. This has ruined some AFL games this year.
- Players should no longer be demonstrative, show any emotion or look at an umpire, even if the decision is absolutely questionable.

Not even Richmond want this nob.
