Didn't we just lerv Derwayne saying just before half time that Fremantle had to win to keerp alive their finals hopes..........even Tony Shaw said he was an incredible optimist to even think of Finals when they were getting walloped by the mighty Blues.........

And yeah......Derwayne kept saying that Gibbsy's goal was ''controversial''.........

Give credit where credit is due.I agree with posters re Ballantyne.Played with heart yesterday.Tough little cookie.

P.S. ..............rarely criticize Journo's or broadcasters coz they make up the fabric of the game BUT Russell is unlistenable these days.Really painfull to listen to.He has become as whiney as Patrick Smith, and from me,thats condemnation at its worse.

Best thing to come out of this game was the performance of Joseph and Armfield. Showed they could potentially be good members of the top 22 and not just pure taggers.

Doesn't Touhy look like a clean pair of heels when he's out there, kid will be a gem.

Robbo - worst half of footy for maybe 2 years, selfishness near goal unforgiveable really and should have been dragged. Also think Tex has been a tad selfish near goal lately, going for glory when a short pass to a teammate in a better spot might have been better option

Ballantyne excellent effort to lift team

I thought Walks played really well on the ball, especially in the midfield huddles.

He did and showed good pace to win clearances late

But up fwd he has gone for glory instead of maybe looking for beter option, and then we see Robbo doing in, don't want this to be contagious - should be team team team !!

Because being Hutchy's coffee boy makes you an expert on the rules of the game.

Gibbs told the ump what he was going to do before he did it, ump agrees. He took one step and kicked. You can't go off your line with one step.

Dwayne Russell was clearly torn between the dream of still getting Gibbs back to Adelaide Camp and the Carlton are a bunch of Cheating Scumbags Camp - the conflict in his tone was clearly palpable.

Although we were lucky enough to be treated to some hilarious remarks about Eddie's shorts.

It was a heck of a lot better than Tim Gossage and the feed that 3AW were using. 10 minutes was all I could handle of parochialism and barracking.

You can if you deviate off the direct line the umpire puts you on. It should be called be play on.
The advantage, composure or intelligence that Gibbs had was to actually start off the line the umpire put him on and then, not only move into it with the one step, but also confirm that it was all clear, before he did it. Brilliant and classy Gibbsy.

From the man who makes an exception to this rule for Franklin because he has a natural arc in his run up.

Honestly Gieshen is a flowering incompetent wanker who would not know if a the number 19 tram to Coburg was driving right up his anus with 2 bells clanking.

Watch the replay of this game again we should have won by 80+ points
We smashed them all over the park except on tbe score board
Freo were beter against the saints and the hawks we didnt allow them to get in the game
The last 4 or 5 goals they kicked you could clearly see we had eased up
It was impressive other than the coversion up front
If we cop the west coast on that ground we will run them ragged
