great courage doubt he would of gone for it so hard last year -excellent recently as a lead up forward
great to see him getting the rewards given on the scrap heap at the end of last season

He's had a good season as a bit part player, but no way is it his best season. Come on, he was one out full back when we were horrible and performed admirably.

I agree frankie - it's a massive sign of the dedication the players currently have to play for each other

Showed plenty of courage, and like AW, what a turnaround. Destined for the scrapheap after last year and as early as the earlier rounds this year, but has turned the right corner and is a valuable cog in our team. I think Waitey's injury has forced us to play T-Bird at both ends, and he's stepped up, and full credit.

Deserves a contract extension - minimum 2 years please.

I for one, wrote T-Bird off but I'm pleasantly surprised and delighted with his output this season, with contacts he should be a one year at at time like Scotland, dont agree with two years

He was a good player when we were very bad, its good to see him getting some reward from a team perspective (playing in a winning team)

X factor during the finals...mark my words. Should be deliberately played back and forward each game in spurts. In fact, give him a rotational spare man around the ground role. He will find space, he can take a good mark and his kicking is fine. A little Glenn Mantonesque and Matt Clapesque. Bring on the finals.
BTW...until we lose and/or WC keep winning, we are still in the top 4. Let's knock off those shit&piss guernsey with their small man sniper coach Friday night and send a message to all. Carlton mean business in 2011

All the best T-Bird.

I will put my hand up as being one of those who thought you would end the season playing in the red jumper but you have well and truly proved me wrong.

I thought Saturday's game was one of your best.

All the best T-Bird.

I had my doubts about his chances this year but he has fought hard to keep his spot. It still hasn't gone his way this year but he hasn't dropped his bundle as he appears to have done sometimes in the past, and has been a pivotal part to our team.

Good luck Bret

I think he has had a fine season and is proving to be a more than capable "swingman" but if anybody here really thinks he will be able to control Buddy if Hendo gets towelled up early they are seriously delusional.

True, but then again no-one is capable of stopping him if on song. I recall that one P Bower used to do ok
