Not sure how Davies is still playing.

Time to start to try and play the players who will line up in the finals.

Davies has played a role the last few weeks and whilst he's still coming to terms with the games, he has hardly been useless. Green had no say in the game; equally the far less useful Edwards for North was indifferent. Id say he'll lose his role as soon as JR is fit enough.

Davies can play on the medium forwards a bit better than AJ and others.

Cue those that dont like him but he was useful, is getting an ok stretch of games for a second year player, and his VFL performances were improving.

Bout 15m longer but 15 mts narrower.

Subi is shaped like a new footy, MCG is shaped like my first footy after about 5 years and we started kicking it on the road..

So Brock could not have been dropped due to ground dimensions could he?

Would have preferred he played.

Patersons 175m x 122m

MCG 171m x 146m

Only marginally longer, but narrower

*these are wikipedia figures

SEN such a reliable source too

no biggie if true though....just resting players ala Filth ?

Re Davies, I actually rate him, and he's developing well. We've had far worse defenders than him.

Just think Brock's been put in a case that says "In case of Curnow or Carrazzo being unavailable, break glass".

I reckon next year they won't even put a small hammer near it.

FWIW I reckon he will be back against the Hawks, who for the last 5-7 years have physically monstered us in the middle.

Yeah just went back a few pages and seen it... no real confirmation though.

Does Walker have any links or other commitments in WA that justifies him going over earlier than the main group?

Yes 15m longer and 15m narrower is a big difference not....should have been given till the end of the H & A season IMO....could also be a matchup thing but I reckon his grunt would be handy against Freo plus he needs more games to get some continuity and confidence....if he is still in the long term plans....

I need to see some stats to prove that we win more games with Bower in the 22.

He will land after the main group....going over on Carlisle Air....
