You'd think so, but then again I had hoped the same would eventuate when we played them in round 22 last year and he pulled out a three vote performance (though I think that time he had only missed maybe 4 weeks) .

On balance, I don't think he'll play, given he reinjured himself first game back last time - I think they'd want him to put together a few good weeks on the track (maybe even the WAFL?) before picking him, but really, who knows.

Any word on Mundy?

As you can imagine over hear we get news on anytime a weagle or docker so much as farts..

Sandilands was pictured on the news training although he was doing stationary handball drills in the vision.

I'm sure they will give him to the very last minute to prove his fitness. I'm sure they would recognise sticking him forward in the goal square would be a headache for us at least. Mundy is less likely. They are also talking about Crowley coming in to shadow Judd as McPhee is out. (I'm sure Judd is shaking in his boots).

Maybe, but really, their season is over. They should be aiming for next year - with a full list I think they are potential top 4 (they will obviously need to overcome their Melbourne hoodoo, but I do really like their list).

Harvey in the press bitching about the amount of travel interstates sides do and the effect of the sub rule
also might rush Sandilands and Mundy back as it is do or die for them

Keep thinking negative thoughts - You are so tired Freo this travel is really taking it's toll you won't be able to run out the game - negative thoughts

If I had to pick a game to lose out of the 3 we have left, this is it. If Freo win, it puts a lot more pressure on Ess to make the 8. It would be nice to see them finish 9th. Also, lets face it, even if we win all our remaining games, we will still finish 5th because of the Eagles easy draw.

Of course, I would rather win but it's just a thought. Best case scenario is that we win the 3 we have left and somehow Bris beat WC at the Gabba. Ess then loses to the WB with Freo winning their last few games. That would set up our first final v Freo.

McPhee is a disgrace. The successor to Chad Cornes.

Aaron Sandilands is "medically" due back this week but you'd think Mundy will miss with his ankle.

Don't think you could compare McPhee to The Chad. McPhee is a d1ckhead - a disgrace, as you said. Cornes was just a good player from a rival club, who, if he played for us, we'd like him. The fact that he "had words" with Fev only enhances his reputation if you think about it....

McPhee has always been rubbish and an angry idiot.

Cornes was once the premier rebounding defender in the competition. Everyone had him in their dream teams and often as Captain. Yes he was also an idiot, but he could play footy.

McPhee is a scoundrel. Saw him lose his shit against Sydney, and again that rubbish on the weekend. Should be banned for 3 weeks. 1 for the incident, 2 for being a grade A moron.

The lead up is pretty much the exact same to our game with them in Round 22 last year - Harvey whinging about having to travel, uncertainty over Sandilands, big game for both clubs in terms of their finals position.

At least we won't have Grigg playing for us this time.

In lacking match fitness, where does he play? Does Walker push out or does Waite huff and puff his way at CHF?

All Blues fans in WA don't want to lose this one. Losing to the Egirls was BAD. Losing to both WA teams would be VERY BAD

Don't think we'll see Waite this week, he was on ABC 774 on the weekend before the Dees' game and said he and Jamo were aiming for Hawthorn. Think he'll probably be eased back with a half in the Ants this week.

By the by, that list is starting to shorten up just in time, fingers crossed. Maybe it's all coming together.

Bit of a shame we are playing at Subiaco this particular week... it doesn't strike me as the sort of ground you'd want to be returning from injury on.

Could Carrots spend a week in the Bullants as well?

Dont think they normally nominate rookies in the list of the injured

and for updates on Okeefe it is best to talk to Doc Sherrin

I believe he has buggered his back again

Casboult, Curnow and Bray were listed as injured, but not Cachia.
